robbalvey Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 (edited) Wow, this is not looking good....poor campers! Looks like we would have been rained out of Dorney 100% chance of rain both Friday AND Saturday! Edited October 8, 2005 by robbalvey
Sir Clinksalot Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Yeah, I'm REALLY glad we opted to not change our trip to this weekend like we thought of doing.
SharkTums Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Luckily though, it's Knoebels. Hopefully this will keep all the annoying craft fair people out of the event, and get it back to how it used to be! Plus it wouldn't be a real PPP without god awful weather! Stay dry and warm everyone!
Bubba Z Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 That's what I'm still debating if it's worth the 3 hour ride to be soaked. Than again, the rain could make it fun. Maybe I should start a poll, lol
Meteornotes Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 And that's why we're not going! Well, and the fact that we just do not want to deal with 2000+ people. To those that are going, have fun. Perhaps next year... dt
QuakerOaties Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 This is why I'm not attending PPP this year. It's already pouring like crazy in Philly.
YoshiFan Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 I had considered thinking about going but it's been raining for 12+ hours here. No fun to drive 2 1/2 hours in the rain and then walk around in the rain all day, then another 2 1/2 of driving home in the rain.
cfc Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Whew! I drove from Williamsburg down to Newport News today and could hardly see past the hood of my car. Hope everyone is staying as dry as possible in Pennsylvania. Chuck "I'll have to check out those PA parks one of these days" Campbell
