Viewing park locations on a map?

Recommended Posts

I remember looking at a group of parks on a map per their location. Not sure if it was on RCDB or not but it was really helpful planning trips. Is there some tool out here that can do that? Can you do that on google maps?

RCDB has both Google and Bing Maps locations for most, if not all of the entries. For the sake of trip planning, if you have an ungodly high amount of patience and determination like me, you can download Google Earth and manually put in all the locations.

I swear they had a feature which showed all "parks nearby" on a map with numbers next to them where you can place a check to show the location on the map. I remember doing something like that for the southern california parks...
