Massdynamic Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 (edited) Will Japan ever have a wing coaster? Which park would make the best fit for one? Edited March 25, 2015 by cfc
_koppen Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Will Japan ever have a wing coaster? Yes, if someone buys it.
K1ngdaKa88 Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 ^Eejanaika is a 4th dimension coaster and not a Wing Coaster. It has it's seats left and right of the track, but it isn't a wing coaster!
CoasterFan98 Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 It all depends on exactly what you mean by saying "Wing Coaster". RCDB has confused things somewhat as they have a generic category (which includes 4th Dimension roller coasters, ZacSpins and Furious Baco) called "Wing Coaster" while also listing "Wing Coaster" as a B&M line. This article I found on the internet explains it nice and quickly: http://coasterpedia.net/wiki/Winged_roller_coaster If you're going by RCDB's definition of a wing coaster, well there already is one in Japan. But I'm assuming you mean a B&M wing coaster. I suspect there will be a Wing Coaster in Japan at some point, but that's just a guess.
gerstlaueringvar Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 (edited) Somehow I got a feeling that Japanese amusement industry isn't going as well as US and Europe. They are closing more rides than opening rides and most park outside of Universal, Disney, Nagashima Spaland and Fuji-Q haven't gotten any new ride for years. Wing coaster is likely to happen, but since they aren't building a lot of coasters, it might take longer. Edited April 14, 2015 by gerstlaueringvar
Massdynamic Posted April 14, 2015 Author Posted April 14, 2015 Thanks for explaining, and wiki link helped as well.. Guess I was thinking of B&M at first
