Hi Guys

I saw there isn't any waterpark discussion thread yet, so I made one. Like at all other threads, you can discuss here about Waterparks, slides, ect.

At the beginning I have a question:

I'm going to Wet'n'Wild Orlando in July 2015 on a Wednesday and it takes me wonder how long the queues at the slides are. And shall I better buy an express pass?

The key is to get there before opening. Ride all the single rider tube and body slides, the get the longer lines. Water parks don't get busy until about after noon so get there at opening! I would also recommend Aquatica as well. Has more "modern" slides and a great atmosphere.

^ thanks for the tip and I think I'll enter at opening, ride Bomb Bay and Der Stucka at first a few times and after that I'll buy an unlimited Express Pass. I buy it after Bomb Bay,... because they aren't included with the express pass and if you say that the lines at the opening aren't too long, but in the afternoon, I'm getting the Express pass later.

I won't go to Aquatica because we I'm only 2 days there (Wet'n'Wild & both Universal Parks) and I took Wet'n'Wild before Aquatica because it is more a "classic" US Waterpark and I like that. But thanks for your tips.

I went to KD's waterpark a couple summers ago after not having been to a waterpark since childhood, and I thought that waiting in the lines was horrible! The wave pools and lazy rivers are ok, but standing in the sun in concrete towers, moving a foot a minute is not my idea of fun.

More power to you if you like them, though.

Aquatica's pretty wonderful. Even if it's crowded to the point you can't get on most of the slides, it's easy to enjoy the atmosphere of the water park.

But...you won't need it. You should have the park to yourself for a few hours. Its also a wednesday...

Don't miss DiscoH20, it is really a lot of fun . The music and lighting during the ride are awesome! (oldies disco, ie KC and the Sunshine Band etc). It's worth a few rerides. Another plus is that you can bring in a picnic basket to the park if you wish to save a bit of cash and have the food of your choosing instead of the usual fried park fare.

Oh, okay. I'm sorry!

I'm looking that I can slide all slides (expected the kiddie slides). I think I buy something to eat there, because it is easier for me, but thanks for the tip.

I now decided to visit Wet'n'Wild and Aquatica on my trip and on the same day. (Wednesday July 22nd) I would visit first Aquatica in the morning, because I heard that the crowds aren't that huge in the morning. Then after lunchtime, when Aquatica gets crowded, I'll leave it, take the bus 8 on I-Drive up to Wet'n'Wild. It takes about 30min with the Bus I saw. Then Wet'n'Wild in the Afternoon-evening and there I would buy an Express Pass! Is it enough with the one time express pass (20$) or shall I buy the unlimited (50$)?

Now my questions:

1. Is that plan good, or do you have any more advice for me?

2. Can I buy the bus ticket in the bus or at the bus stop?

3. Does Wet'n'Wild's Express Pass woth it? And which one?

Thanks for your answer in advance!

1) That's a stretch doing both parks on the same day. You can't do half days at each on two consecutive days. If you get there at opening, you would be done by noon at both parks if you are going from slide to slide.

2) Check the prices of the I-trolley. It has the same stops as the buses but they seemed to come more frequently.

3) Its still a wed but its later in the evening so it could be crowded. Do you feel the need to re-ride the slides? If not, I wouldn't invest in the additional fee

^thanks for your tips.

I'm more a person who is sliding over and over again!

About the bus, I saw that the I-Trolley goes every 20min and the normal bus every 15min and both cost 2$ a single ride.

I'll look if I buy an express pass at Wet'n'Wild when I see how long the queues are!

Is anyone at Aquatica or Wet'n'Wild on Wednesday july 22nd?

I'll be at Aquatica from opening - about 2-3pm

Wet'n'Wild from about 3-4pm till closing

I would really like to meet someone there, because I'm visiting these waterparks alone!
