Nemmy Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Sometimes, I like putting in addresses of random things from a random location and seeing the directions to it. It's cool. Key West to Honolulu At least Mapquest makes sure that you can't drive to Hawaii.
coasterguy618 Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 I've done that for fun too sometimes. It gets boring after a while though.
ebl Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Google Maps is even more fun, especially when you use the hybrid mode (that shows the streets and satellite at the same time). I used to spend hours looking through my dad's old Thomas Bros. maps doing the same thing. I'd go from page to page to page following railroads, freeways, etc. Eric
Nemmy Posted October 5, 2005 Author Posted October 5, 2005 Yeah, Google Maps is better, but there's no hotlinking.
crispy Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 I have in the past, but more yahoo maps but only when I was bored, and that hasn't hapened lately
SonOfBeastSucks Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 I just visit Map Quest every once in a while to get a quick overview of how long it takes to get somewhere, I don't think I have ever really used it for fun though.
