Hunderfossen Norway building new coaster with awesome train!

I hope they will eventually do some more work with the surroundings around the ride, as right now the area is very bare.

 

I thought about that too. But then I remembered, this has been built mainly

for families with small children, who normally don't get this kind of high end

coaster experience, like we do, only Bigger, Taller, Faster...etc.

 

I think the adrenalin rush of just BEING ON this coaster would be enough

'stimulus' for these kids, judging by the laughter I heard on the video.

 

And there is some scenery around this park, when you can catch a glimpse

of it, from that Fancy Pants Car there!

 

Then again... maybe they could Steampunk up the columns & supports that hold it all up, hmm?

So impressed by the trains Does Zierer offer train design service for other coaster manufacturers?

 

Also, is it the first time in the history that a lead car takes two sets of wheels?

^ Any Manufacturer is Capable of Building the Fiberglass Car Body Created by the Designer, for the right price. I think it may be the first Train to have a 2 Axle, 4 Bogie, Lead Car.

I hope they plant grass beneath the ride, I would hate for it to look anything near like this.

 

I also hope they will fix the wall of the station out toward the coaster a bit more. Hopefully in the future they can expand the area around the coaster with more rides/activities so it won't feel so "out in the woods placed".

Well, I thought this was pretty cool so I figured I'd share it here. Every winter they open Hunderfossen Vinterpark on weekends in February and early March, where the park turns into a winter wonderland filled with magic and fairytales. The park put together a lovely little video, showing what they have to offer during this event. For a small family park it looks like a really cool event! (pun intended)

 

 

 

 

You can book an overnight stay in the snowhotel...

 

...or you can even have a marriage in their ice cathedral.
