Oh Yeah! I f you are a Padre fan list your thoughts about the successful team. I think they're going to make it all the way this season especially if they play Atlanta in the 1st round of the playoffs. Boo Dodgers! Considering the Padres would be last in the NL East, I'd say the Padres blow.

I have nothing against the Padres, but when you have 77 wins and 77 loses (As of Sept 24th) Lets be Honest that's Pathetic!

 

They are at 500pct., while the rest of this Loser Division is below 500pct.

 

So eventhough the Padres are in First Place, they will likely be Eliminated in the First Round of the Playoffs.

 

They are a good team, their record should be much better than it is.

They may have a 77-77 record but at least they are better than Arizona, LA, SF and Colorado. Thats the main point people are missing.

They will win the division either tommorow or Tuesday. It will be exciting, but I'll feel really embarresed because they won the division with a sub .500 record.

To guarantee the division, the Padres need to split the series with the Giants. Probably very possible, but if the Giants take 3 of 4, the Padres magic number is still 2, which is very doable I think. If the Giants sweep, I think they'll win the division.

Padres may make the playoffs, but they won't get far. I'd be surprised if they won more than a game.

Well as of the morning of Sept 28th, the Padres have a solid 4 game lead over the Giants.

 

So eventhough the Giants were having a late season surge, it seems unlikely that the Padres could blow it.
