Werner Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 (edited) About 3 weeks ago my girl and i went for a 2 weeks holiday trough Spain, and what would a holiday without parks be right? Follow us while we take on a quick trip to some of spain's best parks! Zaragoza & PdA zaragoza - down below City of Madrid - P1 Credit whoring and PdA Madrid - ? Parque Warner Madrid - ? Isla Magica - ? City of Valencia- ? Terra Mitica - ? Port Aventura - ? City of Barcelona - ? First up? PdA Zaragoza! Things almost start at the airport everytime! It's BCN- El Prat for this holiday! But their was no time to waist here! There a park waiting for us... And thanks to the AVE and Renfe, we are going to be their in about 2 hours! Wait a minute, need to grab some culture credits to here... Can we go to the park now? We made it! 3 new credit await! Of course we hit Ramses first. To bad their still only operating 1 side. The ride was really fun, a trough XXL Butterfly... So that's what happend to the smurfs when they got kicked out of Walygator! No we are still here... Kiddie credit! Well it counts, and it's not as bad as others... Feels like a real Spanish Ghetto park! The Ecuador festival inside the park didn't help either... It has like every Ghetto park, Disney rip-off theming! SIR! You can not rape our park mascotte! This dude is really well hung, with his nose that is! Farewell! PdA Zaragoza... Some more culture credits in town! The future? Looks a lot like my hometown Rotterdam back in Holland!? Next town? Madrid! Edited August 21, 2012 by Werner
larrygator Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 I always love seeing PTRs from Spain to see how the parks have changed since I was there.
SharkTums Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Did Zaragoza still have that terrifying kids boat ride where you had to duck to fit in some of the tunnels??
Werner Posted August 21, 2012 Author Posted August 21, 2012 Did Zaragoza still have that terrifying kids boat ride where you had to duck to fit in some of the tunnels?? I think a did see a ride like that, but didn't do much else then the coaster. The crowd was really bad that day, just not a happy feeling around the park.
Werner Posted August 21, 2012 Author Posted August 21, 2012 All i can say? Enjoy! Walking down the streets of Zaragoza... Let's hope we make it to the train station in time! Hooray! We made it, and did i already mention they have great wheelchair services here in Spain? Going past the landscape at about 300 km/h! And there's that desert again! Almost in Madrid i think here... I welcome you to my new home! No you may not enter unless you bring me some cookies! As you can see there enough room for a BIG TPR sleepover! The back yard still needs some more work. Maybe we can add a coaster(Intamin!), and make it go over the cliff? This would become the Valley part, for Spain's first and only knock-off Alton Towers! We also came by this big concrete block that they call a football(soccer for you US folks!) stadion? So? I think i like the Fifa 12 inside look of this stadion more than the outside! And we finish with these two... ...street shots of Madrid! Come back for more...! Up next: Credit whoring! and Parque de Attractions Madrid!
FJM8 Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Waiting for more! Too bad you go my home-park that day, I went to the "Ecuador Party" one sunday years ago withouth knowing anything, and boy, that didn't like me.
Werner Posted September 5, 2012 Author Posted September 5, 2012 Finally have some time to continue this TR. Were back in Madrid and it's about time for some more coasters! But when you decide to make it a all friendly holiday with your girlfriend, you can guess where we ended up first right? Yes, you are wrong. It's the make up shop! But there's something amazing about this shopping center! It's comes with an all friendly themepark paradise! Disney can wrap up there stuff, this is going to be one amazing... 5 minutes! But we had to wait untill 18:00 for opening, so? KFC anybody? This was to only picture i took in that 5 minutes we 'spend' in the playground! Sorry Larry! And now it's time for some real rides...hi ladies! We started off with this amazing airplane coaster? Well it counts! Next credit was the other kiddie... I was told to take my camera with me, with i thought to kind of strange... 'New''New''New' TNT! Let's blow something up! ... A little closer for Larry! She said: 'Honey? This is an Intamin you mean? YES! Damn! Need to go do more with my Nikon then only take it on vacation i see... BLURRY... Some Intamin loop-de-loop loving. Abismo still kicked @$$! Took a nice spin on the big 'spinner' spider! Made someone happy with my own Happy Puppy... Some nighttime shots... Keep'em spinning guys! And some nighttime TNT! for the index... ... And that wrap's up that day once again! Hope you enjoy it...
larrygator Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 This was to only picture i took in that 5 minutes we 'spend' in the playground! Sorry Larry! No problem, at least you got pictures of the Mine Train at Parque d'Attraciones Madrid. You didn't happen to get any pictures of their Rapids, did you?
simon8899 Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 How did you like the Intamin Invert? I only rode one so far at Särkeniemi in Finland called Tornado and found it to be the best invert coaster ever - beating even the B&Ms.
Werner Posted September 6, 2012 Author Posted September 6, 2012 @Larry: Nope, i didn't get near the rapids during any of my visits. Not really a water rides person, only waterparks... @Simon: I like Tornado very much indeed, It's way better that any Vekoma SLC i've ever done. but it doesn't beat the old school B&M inverts!
gisco Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Nice report so far. Spain is definitely on my list of places to visit in the future.
