New Media Trip Report,

Hello everybody Agent 00 here with a inside look of Paramount Town lake, I am giving you a behind the scenes look of the workings of Town Lake. I get the entire park to myself and I am giving you a run down of what to see and do.

First I enter through the bus parking area. Just a nice normal area with shading.

Parking

The Main Entrance was next (Apparently the park is in contracts with construction companies for a revamped entrance we shall see)

Shot0086.bmp

Entrance

As you can see the main restaurant is nothing special a lot of different flavors of foods but as I said expect a revamp in the near future

My First Ride begins on Jurassic Adventure. I begin on Rex a floorless coaster. Possibly the favorite coaster of the park. Exhilarating with pulse pounding fun. The ride offers 6 inversions and goes from start to finish like a Tyrannosaurus on a feeding frenzy.

Rex

The next major attraction I got to experience was Titanaboa a launch coaster. You experience the G-Forces like the reptilian dino of a Titanaboa strangling its pray (Its really a lot of fun)

Titanaboa

I continue around Jurassic Adventure with a walk around the Dinosaur interactive area which surprisingly free to everybody.

Dinosaur Alive

Blue Thunder was in the background and there newest star attraction had no activity at all. I asked the general manager on my tour all I got was "Some decisions are made before they are though of" He really left it at that. The rumors of the ride having mechanical problems could possible be very true. Could they send this ride to the scrap heap like they did Banshee.

I come back around the park to the Wild West and see a inspector checking the park out.

Wild West

I rode the Old West Wheel to get a birds eye view of the station to the Thunder Road Station.

Thunder Road Station

My next stop was why I got this media trip the new section (To be named in the near future) Multiples rides have been placed where Banshee once stood.

GO KARTS HAVE RETURNED (Eco Friendly to be exact)

Shot0098.bmp

Go Karts

Now you ask me Eco Friendly Go Karts you ask where are they powered from. Well per the General Manager the slides ride actually gives the juice to some of the Go Karts. Static Electricity powers these go Karts. Now there is other ways the go karts are powered but to help as people ride the slides static is packaged and transferred to the charging system of the go karts. (Now the Karts were not powered yet because none of the charging system was set.

Static slides

Next up you can see Electrospin and the New Karaoke Concert venue. (I Could not test these out because they have not been certified)

Electrospin

The major attraction to this area is Stunt Tower and 180 foot drop apparently it will reach speeds of 60mph (Crazy fast, I did not get to ride it but saw it testing and it was extremely fast).

Stunt Tower

I continued to the other new additions to the park and saw the Mini Golf return in the Kids area and also a Ferry ride for young kids.

Mini Golf

As of now that concludes my Media Trip Report. The park is still open to the general public during the weekends but will be opening full time in the near future. I asked about what the park is going to do to keep up with coaster enthusiasts all I was told when you take the correct time big things can happen. So losing a inverted coaster and possibly a Hyper coaster can change things.

How is this a Paramount Park when I see no rides themed to any Paramount movies? I don't get why you would name a park with Paramount in the title and not even put any movie themed rides in? Also why would Paramount have Dinosaurs Alive, that is a Cedar Fair thing. I really don't get why so many rides get taken out so fast either, its just so unrealistic.

It just something I thought and then I lost track of the Paramount part of it. I have a new name for the park and will be showing a update in the near future. Thanks for the comment

I feel the supporting on the wing rider could be better. Like there are supports not even touching the track in some parts, and some parts are very under supported. Also what is with the pre-drop on the lift hill? I don't know any wing rider with one and it just looks ugly and out of place. I know its probably for speed to make the train go through that way to high zero-g roll, but it just doesn't look good. I really like the station though. Also try landscaping the water you have around the ride, it looks very ugly and not natural at all. Oh and why do you have a catwalk on the bottom of that hill before the mid course brake run? You should take that out, it makes no sense what so ever.

^I think some of that has to do with the fact that he is zoomed out, so not all of the supports appear to be there, even if they are. That's my guess for the ones that obviously aren't touching the track.

But I do agree, it generally looks under-supported. I like the unique elements you included though--very original!

That is a very strange layout for a B&M Wing Coaster. It's not horrible, but it just seems unrealistic. I also think the square shaped bodies of water are ugly. I like the theme and the colors for the coaster! I hope to see more of this park and I also hope to see it improve!

-Yeah B.A.B. My computer is not the best for graphics they are touching but I will edit to show more supports.

-Thanks for the comments thrillseeker4552

-It is a strange layout in a since it is realistic we can say its a gen2 wingrider lol Understand it may have some unrealistic changes, I will see what I can change to appease it more. I am going to edit the water area I should of done that before I announced the ride but I made a mistake and will learn from it.

More update will be coming this week stay tune.
