Gigalyte Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 (edited) Extended Skyloop 150 feet tall, 60 mph launch, top speed 62 mph max. Length 1600 feet. Zero g roll, vertical loop, noninverting loop, two vertical twist. 3 trains 12 people per train Edited September 4, 2011 by Gigalyte
6flagsbrad Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 This isn't the coaster that SFDK is getting, but this would be such an awesome ride!
JJ728 Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 That's not even the layout.... That's why it says extended skyloop in the description.
Gigalyte Posted September 3, 2011 Author Posted September 3, 2011 That's not even the layout.... Yes that's why it says extended! I thought about the complaints the one SFDK was getting for capacity so I made it a full circuit by adding a few hundred feet to the ride to enable a full circuit 3 train op. It's still no capacity hog but much better then one train op.
jarmor Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 Is it even possible to make the actual new skyloop and have it work successfully in NL? Godo job on this coaster though...
Devious Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Is it even possible to make the actual new skyloop and have it work successfully in NL? Godo job on this coaster though... Short answer? Yes. Long answer? Yes, Because it works like a sit-down full-circuit impulse coaster, and would utilize Passes + Transport sections or launch brakes
jarmor Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 But a full circuit doesn't have "station passes" as an option so I would figure the coaster would just stall and not return to the station successfully and not be able to "reset" itself in the station.
Angry_Gumball Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Pretty cool, love the "Extended version." I had thoughts about the same as far as making S:UF...the only way I can think of is making the complete circuit and run it like how we used to make shuttle coasters pre NL 1.5, using the e-stop to give off the first and last weaker launches.
