Well for the last few weeks I've picked up the old app I used to play, AirCoaster. Its the most complex roller coaster simulation availiable for iPod/iPad/iPhones. I must say its very cool. You can customize your coaster to the fullest extent, everything from what it looks like to the elements it features. At the beginning, it can be a bit difficult, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes just as addictive as Angry Birds. The game even features an online community for uploading, downloading, chatting, and rating other users tracks.

Anyone else out there play this game?? My username is TWcoasterforce (all in fancy lettering )

I apologize to the mods/admins if this is the wrong forum to post this in as it isnt something I can post screenshots of or anything like that, merely just a discussion thread. But feel free to move the thread. Thanks.

It is much different, its more like a portable No Limits. It is very complex, very detailed, and nearly limitless. However there is no buildings or a park like in RCT, just your coaster and generic, rct-like supports that you manually place, and the only true scenery object is trees. So, its much different, but is only 99 cents and is so much fun if youre a coaster enthusiast. I'm sure everyone who is active in the community would enjoy it, even the people who dont play any coaster games. The possibilites when building are nearly endless.

I actually use the App a lot when I'm bored and no RCT program is available...

Needless to say, it's a pretty powerful app, but has some annoying limitations....

Here are some screens:

This is my recreation of Steel Hawg. this was the closest I could get....

This is Air Force One, and features the new Dog Tongue Element...

This is a close up of the in game cars, one of four different types...

I'll post some more screens later of the editor & other features if I can!

Im not sure if you can get it for the androids, but it certaintly works well on the ipod. The most prevelent limitation is the inability to make wooden coasters, but the possibilities of customizing steel rides are literally endless.

Nice screens socal! Whats your screenname on AC?

EDIT: Nvm, I found you, gonna follow you

I apologize for raising this post from the dead, but I needed to point out that AirCoaster is in serious need of good realistic track makers. My username is Alaeriia; I run several clubs and am very active within the community. The problem is that the "technical" makers, who still think making four pieces of track face each other like a tunnel is impressive, are trying to rule the app. They're kinda being jerks about it, too. If you have an iOS device, I suggest you buy the app.

^^ This app looks really interesting. I would like to try to help you out, but I don't have enough money in my account for the app right now ( I only have 83 cents). Hopefully I'll get it on black Friday

I'm really quite conflicted over this app. It truly is a great app, but as said before, the community for the most part sucks. Someone told me "To stop acting smart because he could obviously see that I was actually a really stupid person. Oh, and they will throw a hissy fit if you block them (I had blocked a couple just plain rude people and they went to complain to TimeTrial... I was not in a good mood .

The community is pretty bad. But for the most part, its easy to ignore. Theres also a few users who, obviously, take the game way too seriously. But it certainly is fun if you use it the right way: build coasters and be creative.

Downloaded it today, pretty good. The community is weird, all the coaster downloads have weird stuff in the title? Whole community looks very amaturish. Can anyone tell me some good, realistic coasters to download?

Well, the TPR members on AC make pretty good tracks (including myself ). Tdub goes as TW, TimeTrial as Aleriia (SP?), and I go as Accelerate and [Alter Ego] (My alternate account).

Ive managed to find some really great, realistic wooden coasters, but Im yet to find a realistic looping coaster. Ive seeen how well someone can make a dive loop/immelman on that app and I want to find a realistic B&M to download
