SharkTums Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Ok, so Robb brought home Howard the Duck, and he was surprised to hear when I told him I've seen this movie several times, anyways I went to IMDB to see who the voice of Howard was and was looking at all the midgets who played him and came across this one: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0696015/ That's right, for those of you who are too lazy to click on the link he is also credited for playing a "Giant Bag of Weed" in Harold and Kumar go to White castle!!!! I don't know why, but I just found this to be the funniest thing ever!!!! Ok, you may go back to your normally scheduled routine now!
Sir Clinksalot Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Wait, did Howard the Duck come out on DVD??? Gregg "Greatest crappy movie EVER" C.
zaneymon Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 cool link BTW i reckon the name Harold and Kumar get the Munchies is a better name then go to white castle
Erik Johnson Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Howard the Duck.......(something) (something) from Cleveland. Did you know that it was originally a Marvel comic book back in the 70s? He was kinda like an alternate version of Donald Duck. Maybe they will bring him back in the form of a character mascot at IOA? (not holding my breath) The original Howard the Duck He is starting to get too cute (they had to change him because Disney was not too fond of how close the original version looked like Donald Duck.) When he was still cool. Now what happened? Ack! so bad!
BelizeIt Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Hey didn't Lea Thompson "Make Sweet Love" to her feathered companion in that flick? Bestiality at its best! Thank God she had the Back to the Future series to save her career from the abyss. George Lucas seems to have a unique fasination with Midgets/Dwarfs, he's used them in many of his films.
Wes Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 One of the Howards was also Admiral Ackbar AND Salacious Crumb!! http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0741717/
robbalvey Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 Lea Thompson looked GREAT in HtD. Too bad she didn't age well. =( --Robb "Still likes the shower scene in Some Kind of Wonderful!" Alvey
