I'm in pain just looking at this crappy transition! I think this is a photoshopped pic, judging by the track's mysteriously-disappearing shadow and the change in colors, but this ride would be really evil if it existed. This looks like something Vekoma would do .

C'mon don't make a fool out of yourself. You just saw that pic on CS a few minutes ago (where i had posted it on some banking discussion), and BTW obviously got quite irritated by that thread (judging from your reply there).

So here's the full link to ease your pain:

it's "Jet Roller" within Mt. Ikoma Amusement Park http://rcdb.com/pd453.htm

Wow, so it is a real ride!

Sorry for sounding incredibly stupid. I had a really lengthy post on CS, but then it was erased when I was kicked offline. I didn't feel like typing it again, so I just put a quick link to the page.

BTW, I read through the CS topic and thought that link was just a joke picture. Nobody really said it was an actual ride. Now I really am impressed that anyone would actually make a transition like that. For being a real ride, IMO, it still looks very unbelievable.

Um, wow... talk about feeling like you're going to get thrown out...

I think Arrow coasters (Old) and Vekoma coasters (Old) have really bad transitions like that... where it banks on a straight away before the turn, and during the turn the banking stays the same until you come out of the turn... then it banks back to normal during a straight away...

As someone who actually rode that ride at Ikoma Skyland in Japan, I don't remember it being all that rough. It was like a mini Jumbo Jet, with decent speed and banking.

I will have to look at my videos from that day to see if I took any on ride footage!
