Thanks for posting that link it was rather interesting. Its nice to hear people speak their minds and then you can see who they really are. And you know what, I can understand why alot of other countries aren't that large in their contributions being that the US is the big brother of other countries and they feel that the US can take care of themselves. I just wish it will all get fixed quickly as possible.

I guess G.W. Bush took over and ordered all the assests to New Orlenes HIMSELF, after the failure of the leadership of FEMA and HSS

 

 

I'm no Bush backer, but I bet someone gets "moved" after this, it will be intresting to see.

Wow! I feel like dirt... and I didn't even do anything.

Okay, so I made it back to Louisiana. We were expecting better conditions here in Houma, but there was moderate damage to structures. The biggest problem was NO ELECTRICITY. Remember I was supposed to get married on Sept. 3.

 

So, when we got back, we had to call all of the wedding people (caterer, flower lady, etc). The church, reception hall, and rehearsal dinner restaurant were without electricity. Somehow, the electricity all came back on at the right time and the wedding went on without a hitch. So, I'm married now. Unfortunately, 3 out of my 4 groomsmen couldn't make it, so I only had my one local guy. The others were coming from Nashville and New Mexico.

 

FEMA bought out ALL rentable apartments in my complex as well as all other apartments in the city and other surrounding areas. We have a medium-sized civic center that is being used as an evacuation shelter. This stuff is too unbelievable. But, we all knew this would happen one day. . .

 

I'm leaving tomorrow to go on my honeymoon (Universal Orlando and BG, Tampa). I'm excited to get out of here. I'll be sure to post some shots of our wedding and our honeymoon when I get back!! Thanks for all of the thoughts from you guys.
