Ledgy Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Yup, it was the add-ons. I had installed: Download Helper Alexa Toolbar Google Toolbar Greasemonkey Uninstalled them all and now the page loads in like 4 seconds. From your add-ons, the only one I use is Download Helper, that might cause a little slow down, too. Didn´t uninstall it, cause like I said. The 13 sec. aren´t that bad. But I still miss the "Z" button at the top
DJeXeL Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Little late to the party but seems to load in a reasonable amount of time. Love the park rating system BTW
coasterbill Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Glad you figured it out. The index is awesome by the way.
MG Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Wow, the new index looks great. Although you appear to have sorted out your problem, it is still a lot slower for me in Firefox than Safari, I mean like quadruple the time. I don't have the Google toolbar installed either. I'm on a 60MB university connection, and it's fine, just a little more laggy than usual. To be honest, I always find Theme Park Review slightly laggier than other websites, I'm guessing that has to do with being based in the states, and not having a server in Europe.
RCFreak Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Firefox 3.16.13 loaded the site like your video until I disabled the adblock add-on then it loaded pretty quickly, and it loaded in about a second in a half in Opera 11.01.
