djbrcace1234 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 The Chiller? Both had similar layouts. I guess it's the first duel lim? I'm not sure on that. And it's located in Great Adventure.
ernierocker Posted January 15, 2011 Author Posted January 15, 2011 (edited) ^^Gotcha. djbrace1234 has taken the lead! (Edit: this is not taking into account his most previous guess.) Remember guys...ask questions! Edited January 15, 2011 by ernierocker
jjune4991 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 I'm gonna say Rolling Thunder at Great Adventure. I'm guessing it was a record breaker in its time. Am I at least in the correct time era?
QueerRudie Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 OK: Another stab at it: Great Adventure's Lightning loops: 1.) Broken record: Spin me right round (It did loop- twice) 2.) dueling (The loops 'interlocked' and the trains 'dueled') 3.) International (Dunno- but it did have an international flavour) 4.) Empty GASM queue (SFGAdv) Just a thought- R.D.
deathbydinn Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Vampire from SFKK perhaps? - It's repetitive since you travel the course twice and there are lots of other boomerangs - It shares the name of a coaster in Britain - It's originally from a park in China - The park closed but is it set to reopen with a better replacement (Like GASM closing to be replaced with GL.) - Finally, the queue shown will be used for GL which is originally from SFKK
djbrcace1234 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Medusa.... First floorless.... And now a cookie cutter. ^^ That was my second guess...

QueerRudie Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 TWISTED TWINS? SOmething about Thomson Twins keeps sticking in my head for some reason: 1.) Dueling coaster 2.) Empty queues: Closed ride 3.) Ob wan (dueling) 4.) Now defunct. R.D.
djbrcace1234 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 (edited) Something wants me to think the former dueling dragons now... Just because of the retrofit of it. Major coasters are all bm's Edited January 15, 2011 by djbrcace1234
jjune4991 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Drachen Fire. It's internationally themed. And it's dead.
The SETGO Guys Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 (edited) Loch Ness Monster at BGW Edited January 5, 2012 by The SETGO Guys
coasterguy4 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 The new racing/dueling GCI in China? -Has a new element (high five) which breaks a record - Also the record is from a website that has China in the name - don't know Obi Won - China is International - The empty queue has to do with the cloaking devices in China
beatle11 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 (edited) Maybe Grand National? It's in England, It's Dueling. Edit: It might have broken a record at the time it was opened. Edited January 15, 2011 by beatle11
djbrcace1234 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 I doubt this, but how about the Corkscrew at Knott's? It's been moved, and replaced by a ride that goes around twice new coaster was built by Vekoma (international) First inverting ride (modern) now closed at it's former area.
jjune4991 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Yea, I think it may be Loch Ness. Broke records, opened with Star wars, internationally themed.
ernierocker Posted January 15, 2011 Author Posted January 15, 2011 New Clue! This one should start to narrow things down! What does this mean??
djbrcace1234 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 (edited) Indiana jones, temple du peril First Disney coaster to loop Based on a movie that had Harrison ford in it Has been made to have forward, or backward trains. Edit: haha. wrong movie now that I look at it. Edited January 15, 2011 by djbrcace1234
beatle11 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Earlier in the thread, you mentioned something about looking into your backyard and not seeing any intamin rides. Now I'm thinking Mystery Mine.

BarryH Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 If I wasn't fighting a cold, I could think clearly and maybe win one of these contests. Now all I can do is be confused and put my fingers in a shape of an "L" on my forehead.
djbrcace1234 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Well, there's always the mummy ride In 3 parks Forward and backwards section Universal--Obi Wan as International over in Singapore---which also seems to be having problems coaster wise...
ernierocker Posted January 15, 2011 Author Posted January 15, 2011 TOKYO.... What would make you think that???
djbrcace1234 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Battle star Galactica It seems to fit under what I just posted.. closed, duels, international, universal
