PKI Jizzman
I stumbled upon this ride on RCDB, and can't believe this ride hasn't had more press. It looks similar to S&S's recent crazy project, Extreme Rusher (http://rcdb.com/9140.htm) at a sister Happy Valley. Well, it seems like Happy Valley Shenzen is getting an awesome S&S coaster now! It doesn't say if it's launched or not, but here's some photos! Anyone else have more info on this coaster? Shangrila Snowfield..interesting! http://rcdb.com/9442.htm Edited January 11, 2011 by PKI Jizzman
larrygator
I noted in the What's New for 2011 Thread that it would be launched, but now I can't find the source for that information. Maybe Robb heard about it at IAAPA, I might have to go back on watch his 2010 IAAPA videos now.

PKI Jizzman
Wow, then this thing should be just as bad ass as Extreme Rusher! I really, REALLY hope S&S will build more of these in the US..especially after hearing so many great things about Powder Keg. Maybe we will see these new 4across seated trains too! Another photo. Will it use the same trains at Extreme Rusher? Looks like it in the renderings! Very cool.
DJeXeL
Those restraints look uncomfortable......
Fooz
Those restraints look uncomfortable...... As a tall person, the Hypersonic restraints were murder on my shins. I haven't been on powder keg, but hopefully they aren't taking the same route.
DJeXeL
^Being 6' 1" I may have run into the same issues. That was the #1 complaint I heard about Hypersonic. Well that, low capacity, and constant downtime.
DBru
^^Powderkeg has the same lapbar found on the Screamin' Swings...probably the most comfortable restraints ever. I'm sad to see they aren't returning on these new trains. Regardless, these new S&S mega-creations look awesome, and I hope just as much everyone else here that a model will built in the US sometime soon.
