B.A.B Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 (edited) My park is going to be called Corkscrew Adventures and it is going to open in 1996 on May 12th. In Greenup, Kentucky. SCR220.bmp The entrance is already being built. SCR221.bmp By the way it has an invisible entrance. SCR222.bmp Last photo. Edited October 10, 2011 by A.J.
braztaz Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Tip of advice: Wait until you have a full completed screen to post a new topic up. What you have didn't really give me much to comment on.
dmaxsba2408 Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Welcome to TPR! For your first post you seem to have it down very well. Â Am loving that building, so simple yet so very nice. I do have to agree with braztaz. Please get some more pictures up soon or this could end up being locked. It is close to violating TPR game forum rule number 3. If your curious as to what I am talking about please read the Game Forum Etiquette topic.
B.A.B Posted November 19, 2010 Author Posted November 19, 2010 So sorry I promise not to do this again. SCR223.bmp Well I went back and I found this. SCR226.bmp SCR225.bmp Last photo of this little update. Â P.S. Some people told me they wanted more pictures so I did what they told me to do.
sfgamguy Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Your off to a great start I like it. Â The entance it very midway/classic theme park looking to me and I like that. Can't wait to see where the park goes. Good luck
Dotrobot Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 There's not much need to post 1 building in all 4 views. Â Other than that it looks nice. But why not use the diagonal roof for that diagonal wall? I blends in better with the spanish roof than you think it'd would
B.A.B Posted November 21, 2010 Author Posted November 21, 2010 Update. SCR229.bmp Well when I went back to the park I realized that the color on the main entrance was change to white and I found an information building. SCR228.bmp SCR227.bmp Last photo of this update.
MeMeMe Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 I really like the entrance in the last update; not only was white a much better idea, but the trees really add to the atmosphere. Although I hope you'll start the "Corkscrew" part going, because I want to see what you can do, coaster-wise.
B.A.B Posted November 21, 2010 Author Posted November 21, 2010 Mini update. SCR230.bmp They finish the chaos and they named it Chainsaw Mayhem. SCR234.bmp SCR236.bmp Also a Togo stand-up was being built. SCR235.bmp SCR231.bmp Every Togo has to have the turn of death.
Calicoasters Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 The park entrance looks really nice, and you misspelled Mayhem on the ride's sign.
Dotrobot Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Chainsaw mayhem? Â *awaits cedar fair jokes*
B.A.B Posted November 23, 2010 Author Posted November 23, 2010 (edited) Mini update. SCR254.bmp New layout again. SCR255.bmp SCR256.bmp Last picture of this update. Edited November 23, 2010 by B.A.B
let1gre Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 A "layout mix up" is hard to believe, but it looks nice anyways.
B.A.B Posted November 23, 2010 Author Posted November 23, 2010 I just want to make an short and simply Togo design, not a messy one like the old one was.
braztaz Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 The old one looked like a good Togo recreation, and had that Togo-feel to it...I say keep the old one.
Calicoasters Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 I like this layout more than the other two. I say keep it.
jjune4991 Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Yea, I believe this is the "best" Togo layout you've made. Good job.
Thelegendarymatthew Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 The pathway looks way to long for what kind of ride your doing.
B.A.B Posted November 23, 2010 Author Posted November 23, 2010 UPDATE!!!! SCR261.bmp I went back to the park to see if the workers got the coaster finish and well they did. SCR260.bmp SCR262.bmp SCR265.bmp SCR271.bmp Well I told the workers to see if I can bring some of my friends from TPR and he said yes. So I brought Coupon,Dotrobot, and me,but we three thought it would be rough and really we three ending up loving the ride until the point it was our favorite roller coaster of all time. SCR276.bmp SCR282.bmp Well I went back to the park and I found an mini main street for this section of the park, but I am sure they will have an big main street in the middle of the park. SCR283.bmp They change the name for the choas to Mystic Spin. SCR288.bmp More pictures of the mini main street. SCR289.bmp But the picture I wanted to show you guys the most was the ARROW!!!! SCR284.bmp SCR285.bmp SCR287.bmp Last photo of this update.
B.A.B Posted November 26, 2010 Author Posted November 26, 2010 Mini info update, well some people may think that I may be making one Arrow but I may make one more and it will be an Arrow Suspended, well that was my mini info update for you guys.
braztaz Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I don't like the arrow, but I really like the TOGO.
B.A.B Posted November 26, 2010 Author Posted November 26, 2010 I may do an few changes because Dotro said "don't bank that turn after pre-drop and lower that hill in the helix".
let1gre Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I agree with braztaz, the Arrow has a really weird layout, but not in a necessarily good way (in my opinion). The TOGO and its surroundings look nice and realistic though.
