mightbeawannabe
Hmm....I was meaning similar to a Blitz in that it has a beyond vertical drop and uses the Intamin track and trains, not that it was a Blitz. It's my own "style" but has that Blitz attribute. But I get your point.

Vekoma Fan Boy
^ E. Your coaster cannot have a moment of force of more than 5.2g or less than -1.5g being tested at 100% time scale.

cubsonfire2
is there a limit on speed. say 124mph thurst tower.. can i use wood magic and then convert it to steel supports.? because thats how my ride would need to be supported in order not to fall over.. i dont think convential methiod of suppporting would work on this one.. The only "limit" on speed is a 40mph minimum for a launch. Wood Magic converted to steel is always okay, but remember that you will be docked points if it doesn't look realistic (i.e. Remember to clean it up). It looks a bit like a Blitz, but has my own flair to it. I wasn't completely clear, sorry! I tried to say that you can't, say, "advertise" it as a Blitz. Using the Blitz concept for your design is okay as long as it would not be confused with an Intamin coaster if it was built in real life. It's sort of tough to describe what a Blitz coaster is mainly because the two existing Blitz coasters (Maverick and iSpeed) are so different compared to each other. davisal771
Visage is now complete! The first handbuilt coaster I've done in a while. Stats: Top height: 142 Feet Length: 1517 feet Top Speed: 67 Mph Elements: 180* Lift, Immelmann, Immelmann, overbanked turn, overbanked turn (Forward) 180* Lift, Overbanked turn, overbanked turn, Diving loop, Diving loop Featuring face to face seats New style of lift hill for maximum thrill With G forces of up to 5gs, this coaster is not for the faint of heart. Because of the horrible capacity this thing would have, I deem it a fantasy coaster. shuttle.nltrack DOWNLOAD

A.J.
There's your problem. It looks like an Intamin...the support structure is lifted right from Maverick. It might be a stretch. I guess if it's submitted as is I will qualify it - but it just looks like it was designed by Intamin's engineers and not by you... But, like you said, I'm probably wrong! I'll reserve judgment until it's submitted.
mightbeawannabe
My stance on the supports.... I tried it for kicks (and something had to realistically hold up the track-why not just go tried and true?), and it worked beautifully with track weaving in and out of them, something totally unplanned but adds a nice touch! Also, this is a picture taken of a backup with all but 467.65 feet of track left and a handful of poorly made supports with a few .3ds tossed in. I deleted the rest. There's a lot more that could have been in this picture....
the ghost
More layout revealed. I suck at supports! They are no where done, but I am generally a wooden builder, so yeah. Anyone have support advice? I have done 2 steel coasters ever and they were my first 2 coasters(ever) with the worst structures ever. I have also never attempted anything like this before. taboo-101130165124000.bmp Taboo: Dare to break coasterdoms rules...coming soon!
inflameswetrust21
I have almost finished my project! I am going to make sum final adjustments and may consider a complete over hall of the supports but her is the spoiler. I give you Zealot! Also as a fast question. Davasal771 how do you edit your pictures the way that you do with the interesting and cool letters and it really looks like a real billbord for a ride? If you could tell me that would be great! A.J.
I'm liking everyone's designs so far. Just giving a mandatory warning - submissions open in a week. Please do not PM me or do something similar to give me your submission until next Thursday. Any submissions I get before I officially open them will be discarded. You won't be disqualified for it (Believe me, I'm not a jerk), but it's kind of annoying.
davisal771
^^ I usually use PhotoShop for most of them, but due to a recent hard drive space issue, PhotoShop went Bye-bye... So I used http://www.picnik.com
