Mastersax68 Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Maintain the quality, and I could see you netting at least a Bronze, if not Silver or Gold. Keep it up, I'm watching you.
Kraken & Manta Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Truly awesome update, Mike! I really like all the different styles in the area, you blended them in together really well! Along with the coaster's layout pic, could you show the building? Kinda hard to see where the coaster is. Also, I would change the land in the lake to something besides grass, it brightens it up quite a bid. Â Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see more!
Califolf Posted November 4, 2010 Author Posted November 4, 2010 Nothing much, just some random pics and a preview... Â The track of Tuning the Bay: Â Â and its location in the park (surrounding area will eventually be filled in): Â Â Â Guess what these little things are (winner gets free say on the next ride to be built in a randomly-chosen MARFlepark): Â Â Â Davisville pic #1: Â Â Â Davisville Pic #2: Â Â How about a waterfall? Â Â Â Or maybe even Central Park in Davisville? Â Â Finally a bit of a preview for the next two sections: Â
Dotrobot Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 TVs, Fans, or Lamps. Â NIce update as always.
Ace Of Spades Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Lights/Projectors for a show/parade? Â Amazing as always Folf!
Kraken & Manta Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Like the coaster, very Vekoma layout! As for the post thingies... some sort of Holiday-time theming? What ever they are, I'm just amazed by how you spent the time recreating all of those multiple posts (there's got to be like 100 of them!), shows how much love you put into the park! Marvelous job!
Califolf Posted November 6, 2010 Author Posted November 6, 2010 TVs, Fans, or Lamps. Nope, far from it.  Birdhouses? Nope... wait, who even places those in a park? o.O  Lights/Projectors for a show/parade? Yep. Well, actually a bit more than that - they also contain speakers (the bottom-most black blocks). And as the earliest to answer correctly, you get full say over the next ride in a randomly chosen MARFlepark! I'll go PM you the randomly chosen park's name shortly  @PSIrockin yep... but a tad bit late...  @KLM thanks! and yeah, I guess you can call this a 'recreation'... a rather large one, lol.
Ace Of Spades Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 ^Yay! I promise I won't ask for anything too outlandish.
Califolf Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 Long time no hear, it's time for an update! Â Disclaimer: This park will be making references to other parks. Please orient yourself with the aforementioned other park prior to reading below in order to prevent potential confusion. Â Next up is Corte Lupi. This Mediterranean land blends together an Italian look and feel with ancient Greco-Roman myths and legends. While Corte Lupi is a cramped 'Filler' area in the states, here in Liverpool it's an actual, open-spaced Italian Courtyard: Â Â Â Indeed, attention to the flora and architecture were spent to create the Mediterranean Atmosphere, from the rolling hills and Cypress trees, to the fountain in the middle of the courtyard: Â Â Â Attractions in this section: Â Grand Voyage - a "single-level" adaptation of Adventure of Harbor Cove boat dark ride back in the states. Why do I put single level in quotes? Because, while most of the ride is on a single level in a vast show building (unlike the multi-level US version in a compact building), a 60-degree 40-foot drop is required to enter the show building from the loading area located in the rightmost building of the first pic. Â Mythus Apollo - a 'light' dark ride that takes inspiration and elements from ancient mythical tales and forms it into a fun-filled story. Basically a larger version of the original attraction. Entrance located in the largest facade, and is, ironically the 'centerpiece' landmark of the area: Â Â Now, as for the unfinished areas that you saw, that's Harbor Point. And that shall be taken care of in a much later update, as we near finishing-up with construct and approach a springtime opening.
PSiRockin Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Nice. I love that fountain, it gives off a nice feel. This does feel certainly roman.
CoasterCreator9 Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 The fountain is indeed very cool. The entire area looks wonderful.
