braztaz Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 I agree about the checkered paths. Everything else is great! Nice work!
Califolf Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 The beach looks fun! And the ice skating rank is quite unique imo. And I agree the others on the checker pavement, I suggest adding some planters and 'green' it up. At the moment it feels very industrial... unless that's the intention you're going for. Nevertheless, keep it up! ^^
Kraken & Manta Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Love it! The Facility Nine area really looks nice, very innovative. I also like how the beach has a combination between real and fake people, nice touch. I also agree with the others about the checkered path, but that's not a huge problem.
dmaxsba2408 Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 One other little thing that just does not really belong, on the beach you have some vending machines. I don't think that is a good idea. If they are just scenery I would take them out and move them to an area just off the beach. If they are real (working) I would suggest exchanging them with one of those DUKE stalls. The ones where it is just a counter with a peep standing behind it serving guests. On a beach like that you need something that can be moved quickly and those vending machines are not it. One of those working food/drink carts would be good also.
CoasterCreator9 Posted September 25, 2010 Author Posted September 25, 2010 Originally, this update was going to include improvements and an awesome vertical drop coaster I made. That was before my game decided to corrupt the save file. Good thing I have a backup, minus the beach.. Oh well, can make it better now! Only one picture this time..
djbrcace1234 Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 (edited) Looks like I'm not the only one that seems to get many corrupted files. So sorry to hear about that, but it's still looking nice. Edited September 25, 2010 by djbrcace1234
braztaz Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Looks like I'm not the only one that seems to get many corrupted files. So sorry to hear about that, but it's still looking noce. Looking noce indeed!
Kraken & Manta Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Sucks when that happens... always save often in multiple files. I like the new path way, a large enhancement from the checkered path! Keep up the great work (or else).
CoasterCreator9 Posted October 2, 2010 Author Posted October 2, 2010 Whew, it's been awhile but I think I came up with something update worthy. The new B&M Dive Machine, Firestorm! And also, something else going up!
djbrcace1234 Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 The Diver looks very crammed in the way you put it in. Unique for sure, but even the smallest Dive Machines, like Oblivion, are spread out a bit. The junior family coaster looks nice though. Splendid job as always!
braztaz Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 I agree about the Dive Machine, but it is VERY unique and I still love it! And I'm really loving the family coaster!
Kraken & Manta Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Quite like the dive coaster! Very unique, I like the small drop before the main one. Also the Airport kiddie is an awesome idea, and awesomely made... which is awesome!
CoasterCreator9 Posted October 21, 2010 Author Posted October 21, 2010 Hey everyone! After a much needed break from RCT2, Baylands returns with a bang! Dreadnaught, Bayland's newest racing LIM launched roller coaster, designed by Creative Designs Inc. The coaster races over the bay and each track has a single vertical loop. Overview: Sorry for lack of pictures this update, the battleship took up the most time, and there isn't much more to see. Enjoy!
braztaz Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Very cool concept I gotta say, I miss seeing you around here!
CoasterCreator9 Posted October 21, 2010 Author Posted October 21, 2010 Well, expect more now! During the hour I spent building the battleship, I came up with a lot more ideas!
Ace Of Spades Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 At all inspired by the aircraft carrier I showed you two weeks ago? Anyway, awesome coaster you have here, great to see Baylands back in action!
djbrcace1234 Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 It's nice to see this park agian, and like always, you don't disappoint! Very nice concept, and it's executed nicely as well.
Kraken & Manta Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 That, my friend... is one of the single most awesome things ever. A WWII style battleship with an awesome coaster! Is there any theming in the Battle ship?
Califolf Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 Liking the coaster and that battleship, looks like a fun ride! Can't wait to see more, and great to see this park again.
CoasterCreator9 Posted November 23, 2010 Author Posted November 23, 2010 Well, exactly one month (giver or take a day) I'm back from a much needed hiatus. Hopefully, this time I'm back for good. Small update, but hey, it's something. Aestetical changes to Dreadnaught: Possible expantions? I must say, it's good to be back!
CoasterCreator9 Posted December 17, 2010 Author Posted December 17, 2010 (edited) Could it be? An update? -------------------------------------------- CDI and Baylands Park are proud to announce the first major addition in quite some time! Due to the park owner's recent visits to France, CDI is proud to announce an all new land in Baylands Park: France. As you can plainly see, construction is underway: Upon entering, only one shop has been built as of recent, Des Frites. The first coaster in this section is a winding custom GCI, Le Phantome. The coaster thunders through the forests on the park's border. Twists and turns.. Yet more turns.. And more beautiful GCI turns... Bumpitty bump.. *Thanks Robb. * The coaster rides through the forest at a gentle pace here. And finally, the station fly-by full of ghost and smoke effects. Last image is an overview of the new section. FOr those of you still following this, thanks ever so much! ~CC9 Out. Edited December 18, 2010 by CoasterCreator9
Califolf Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Nice coaster! Though, it seems strange to not fences around the paths, though I feel that this will be/has been dealt with. Look forward to the new area! ^^
B.A.B Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 I agree because you don't want someone to go out of the area and have there head cut off like batman did in Georgia. Although that what would happen in real life, but I really love that GCI though, keep up the great work.
djbrcace1234 Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 However, it's not un common for European based parks to not actually have fences. Theme parks are basically, well, parks. I'm sure that's not the reason for this, because I smeel a flat or two to help unify the overall area. Nice coaster.

Welcome back to the park! I am proud to announce we are working on partnering with a major hotel chain, and have begun more expansions in France! Nothing much majorly noticeable, aside from La Revolution and a few restaurants. That's all for this minor update! See you soon!
