nymgb44
Hey Robb, My name is Evan, and I'm a long-time lurker but new member here at TPR. I love this site and it's become my go-to for theme park pics and information. I'm 17, and my mom, sister and I are going on a road trip from our native New Jersey to Virginia for our summer vacation. We planned on visiting Kings Dominion on August 22nd. Once I heard TPR was holding their East Coast Bash at KD on the day I would be there, I thought about going. However, I wanted to ask some questions first. Is it an appropriate atmosphere for a 17 year-old and possibly his 14 year-old sister? Is this only for experienced members? What sort of day can I expect? I appreciate your time -nymgb44 (Evan)
robbalvey
We have members of all ages at our events. As for what to expect? Just have a look at some of the photos from other events we have done in the past. They are on the front page of the site under "Theme Park Review Updates" on the left hand side: http://themeparkreview.com/
nymgb44
Thanks, Robb. How many people do you expect to attend?
PAL
I've attended the past two West Coast Bash events with my son, now nearly 14. It was a wholesome environment, more so than this site itself (which I consider PG-13). Generally I find people adjust their behavior to fit those around them. TPR members in my limited experience are much more polite and friendly than average. Must be the ERT!

Sir Clinksalot
I agree with PAL. The TPR group is really great around kids (My son was 11 during Bay Area Bash last year and 12 during WCB this year). Just go, have a great time. The entire group doesn't hang all day, but during ERT you are just going to be around a great group of people who like riding coasters. gci2011
About ECB, I'm trying to talk my family into it. I have two younger sisters, 12 and 8, and was wondering if you think the event would be appropriate for them as well? Thanks for the help
SharkTums
^If they like roller coasters and having fun the event is for them!
cfc
^^TPR events are great--sign up, and I'm sure you and the rest of the family will have a great time. It could even be profitable if the eight year old is willing to charge other coaster enthusiasts to help them get the elusive Taxi Jam credit. htomc42
So, I'm trying to get the ticket for the East Coast Bash, and I don't have a season ticket, but it won't allow that option! The dropdown where I have to select whether I have the season ticket or not, only allows the 'Yes' option! Did someone steal the 'No' option?
