thrillrider
Today, I have a mega six flags update!!! Â First up are a bunch of old six flags booklets from several different six flags parks. There are booklets from six flags darien lake in 1999, six flags over georgia in 1994, six flags hurricane harbor in 1997 plus the hurricane harbor annoucement for it's opening year, six flags magic mountain in 2000, six flags astroworld in 1996, and six flags great adventure from 2004. Â Then I have added some six flags pin sets that I have had. These are limited edition pin sets, and only 2500 were ever made. Â Comming up soon I will have the mean streak s.o.p, and the demon drop press relese. Remember six flags darien lake? Back of booklet. Six flags over Georgia. 1994 Hours of operation. Six flags hurricane harbor at magic mountain. Not sure of what year the park opend, but I believe it was 1996? All kinds of cool looking slides. Hurricane harbor annoucement. Six flags magic mountain 2000. Back side. New for 2000....goliath. Everytime I look at this, I get depressed. Back of booklet. I never made it to this park, and I am still bummed about it. Inside. The new loony tunes kids area. Six flags great adventure 2004. This was the first time I went to this park. This park has really changed over the years. This is the first of 2 six flags pin sets that I have. Limited edition set. This is the other set.

thrillrider
They might be, but I woulden't even know where to look to find out if they are.
netdvn
These are amazing... I'm so jealous of your collection  I'm actually glad to see a couple brochures that I actually have in this thread (although they're buried somewhere). I don't seem to remember Hurricane Harbor having a separate brochure from MM though. I always recalled MM and HH sharing the same brochure and then they had a coupon brochure to go with it. Â This is a behind the lines employee magazine from cedarpoint in aug of 2002. The front cover Local fairs and discounted employee tickets. Local companies have all kinds of deals for cedarpoint employees. Employee steak night Anybody hungry? Then check out the employee cafateria. Did you know? Back page. thrillrider
Today I am posting some pages from the mean streak operations manual. Â I posted what I thought was interesting, but if there is something that you want to see, just let me know and I will post it. As you know, the mean streak is getting a lot of track work this off season, so I hope it does the ride some good. One of the pages I thought were interesting, was the trim brake page. I will try and add more pages tommarow. Â I also added the employee ride night poster as well.....enjoy. The cover of the book. The basics about the ride. Ridership numbers. Stats. I wonder if the weight of the train with riders, was with or without ace members? Station layout. Track diagram How long is the wait? Hand signals Seat belts. I hate them. Do we realy need them on this ride? Control panal. About the control panal. The c.r.t screen. The dredded trims. Breaker box. I have only seen them run 2 trains this past summer. Guest situations. Weather Train rotation log. Mean streak ride night.
thrillrider
A few more pages...... The "welcome back" speil. Instructions for riders. Try saying this over and over again all day. Lift remote control station. When they start the lift in the morning, someone has to push this button the same time as someone in the controle booth for the lift to start. I went to Geauga Lake in 2007, and could definitely see why it was dying So sad.  I especially love seeing the employee newsletters and SOPs. Knott's doesn't come anywhere close to either of those things, it's crazy  Just keep the pics and other goodies coming!

Philrad71
Awesome update - thanks for sharing as always! Â I know I probably have that same 1983 brochure tucked somewhere in my Dad's attic as well as others. I loved the Demon Drop poster in the middle - I actually had it hanging on the back of my bathroom door and my friend wanted to fight me for it one night when we had a sleepover! Â I remember being so terrified to ride DD when it first opened I literally thought I was going to pee myself when we were in line. Definitely the most terrifying ride for me that CP had ever installed to date - although Gemini's first hill always used to get to me too. Remember when they had those maroon red trains like the one's shown in the photo? 1983 may have even been the first year they changed the red trains to the candy apple red they are today because I remember the difference in color when I visited. Â Lot's of good memories here...I was a little too big for Kid Arthur's Court when it opened, but remember being disappointed the year they announced that was going to be new the attraction. Â I guess once an enthusiast whiner, always an enthusiast whiner!
