Hello everyone! I'm CoasterCreator9. I've been a member over on Atari for a few years now and I decided I want to bring my work over here as well. I've been playing the series ever since it came out, but my favorite is definitely RCT2.

The original concept for Arcadia was a massive indoor amusement park, started from a smaller version with the same name in one of my earlier parks. Well, the massive indoor park idea didn't go through and Arcadia has become a massive park of all sorts of themes and ideas. It is for sure a WIP.

If you want to read the full story here is a link: CLICK

Critisism of course, is welcome!

From now on updates will be full detail, but here are some pictures of major areas:

SCR28.BMP

This is an overview of the land, "Arcadia: New Age" providing a look into the future with many rides.

SCR46.BMP

This is Mine Shaft 141, a massive roller coaster version of a hacked drop tower. To get it to work I had to do one of the merges underground.

SCR66.BMP

The Expedition Everest-esque Flash Flood is themed to a mine exploration sidetracked (literally) by flooding rains. By the way, it IS going backwards. =)

Welcome to TPR!

That building and rail line looks great! Just wondering if maybe a tram would have been a better choice.

Looking forward to seeing more of this park and if it's done a download of it.

Thanks! Yeah, the tram might be a better choice.. Also, this park is nowhere near finished, if I posted an overview you could easily see why.

This is VERY Cool! I could never sit down and build something that huge! Is this park finished or will there be updates?

Thanks! Yeah, the park has a long way to go before being finished.

I really like that first screen! Very impressive. The giga track sculptures are really pretty inspired. My only little thing to point out is that the water in the last screen looks kind of off, but it doesn't look like you have room for a full stream bank and all.

Keep it up!

Thanks, I know the water looks a little off, I tried working my way around that but there was not many options..

Arcadia has finally constructed the long awaited "Indoor Amusement Complex" consisting of two ferris wheels, Sun-Up and Sun-Down Wheel, two motion simulators, a small Arrow corkscrew coaster in the center, Loop-The-Loop, and a round up ride, Whirlpool.

The massive entrance building:

Back side:

The Great Bay Lake Skyway System (GBLSS) is a series of pathways and bridges above the lake in the park's center.

Arcadia has also opened two new lands, the Enchanted Forest is one with a small railway, a coaster named Hidden Mountain, and a double inverter ride named Rage.

Hidden Mountain Coaster:

Note: I'm not too sure how I feel about this building, what do you guys think?

The other "land" is Tyke Town. A scenic area for the younger guests, full of colorful and entertaining rides. Arcadia also erected a shuttle loop near one of the main entrances, named Electromagnetic Pulse, EMP for short.

Tyke Town is home to numerous rides, such as a Frog Hopper, Bumper Cars, a Carousel, and many more.

The section's main attraction is Airplane Fliers, a custom dark ride simulating flight with swinging cars and scenery depicting many different countries.

Inside view:

A relatively large refreshments building has also been designed, servicing Tyke Town and a nearby pathway.

Here is an overview, as you can see there is ALOT of work to be done.

Comments and critisim welcome as always!

Something about that kid section I just adore so much! It's not too cramped, and nor is it over detailed either. It's just. . . Just right. However, something bugs me about the indoor concept. I just think it's small, which then just makes me consider if you take some of these ideas and just put them in thier own indualvidual small parks. I just find it unusual, or I guess I mean I'm puzzled to see how all this ties in together. Don't get me wrong though, the park is splendid indeed!

Thanks, I definately know what you mean with the kids section.

I really get what you mean about the indoor concept. I wanted to make it much larger, but patience became a problem. I'm thinking of replacing it with something, if anyone can give me some ideas, that would be great!

I can see nothing to offer to you in any of those pictures, really like what I see. Well Done!

Thanks!

Honestly I don't think it is too small, kind of reminds me of the indoor section at Mt. Olympus in the Dells. All it has in it is a few flats and a spinning mouse along with a some food and drink. Or maybe on a bit larger scale Circus Circus in Vegas.

The building is just right. Your foliage is awesome as is your building . I really liked the tyke's section of the park. It's my favorite! For now

Update: Safari Zone

The Safari Zone, themed to the colorful Pokémon anime has made its long awaited return. After being removed do to space and congestion issues, the area (or zone, I should say ) is back and better than ever!

The "Red" entrance and the station of Typhlosion's Explosion, a large Intamin LIM launched coaster.

TE's Top Hat:

The exciting and twisted spaghetti bowl of track after the top hat:

For some reason I think this area is quite scenic in this specific spot:

TE to the left, in the center is a garden area and shops, to the right is Articuno's Flight.

New rides are being planned and here you can see two of them.

Two buildings, replicating a Pokémon Center and Pokémart have been built.

The other "Blue" entrance, so far not connected to much.

Teaser: (Location - Resort Island)

As always, comments and critisim welcome!

My only gripe is EMP, I'm not really digging the name and it really reminds me of McDonalds or the Circus, plus I like the TE with that paint job much better.

Looks like an awesome start!

POKEMAN?!?!

Awesome idea for a themed area!

Thanks!

Update: Coasters, Resorts and Teasers Galore!

Arcadia is becoming more popular than ever! The Main Street is still popular with the main information center and the Arcadia Bistro.

Crowds gather here and at the fountains to enjoy a nice break from rides.

A few buildings have been built in the area where Safari Zone was originally built, say, what is that in the background?

Just across the "street" is a small park, titled "Country Hill" showcasing flags from many countries around the world.

Over in Safari Zone, three new rides have been built, Bellsprout Twister, a scrambler ride, Rhydon Battle Arena, a bumper cars ride and Mudkip Coaster, a Vekoma Roller-Skater. (So I herd u liek mudkipz?)

Mudkip Coaster is very popular.

A new ride is also in the works.

Head past the fountains and take a right at the Amusement Complex and you'll have reached Wildcat, a beautiful GCI Woodie, with twin turnarounds, and a double-up.

Second drop and turnarounds:

Double-up and an airtime hill:

The final forested and twisted section:

Also new to the park is the Arcadia Challenge Golf mini golf course. It has many challenging (actual obstacles!) and fun holes such as the pirate island, waterfall cove and industrial center!

Note: This was actually just put in between Tyke Town and the Fountain Plaza, it turned out very well, IMO

Another thing, here's the space I've used up:

Here's what I have left.

Any suggestions of what I should do over across the river? I'm thinking of doing a multiple park idea (Disney) but I'm wondering if anyone has some good ideas!

I also have an overview of the Sunset Beach Resort.

Hmm.. What have we here...?

Too me it already looks like as though you have multiple parks, for each of your areas I think do not blend together. I think the name is just the issue of it at least, because your park is more "adventerous." And since you have a safari kingdom already, prehaps you could make a zoo over in that area as well, and then a waterpark.

My only suggestion like I mentioned before is try to stay uniformed; each idea you have I just think clashes. It has to be a flow issue, but besides what I have mentioned, the park is fantastic CoasterCreator9!

only thing i'd recommend for the hotel is instead of those seethrough porch walls on the side of the hotel facing the pool I'd add those windows next to it and leave only 3 porch walls near the center. It does look odd but still I like the pool being sandwiched it's really cool

Whew.. Lots of information. One last little piece of information:

Quote:

Palm Bay, Florida: Creative Designs Inc., owners of Arcadia Adventure Park in Palm Bay, have announced they will be closing early this season. (Yes, I will be starting to actually close the park at the end of each season.) CDI has recently announced the purchase of land across the river from Arcadia. Rumors are that this will NOT be an expansion of Arcadia, but a whole different park (?) altogether. CDI also announced they will be updating their website with the beginning of the next season, along with updated prices and new ticket/pass options.

Fun stuff.
