larrygator Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 The distance between the bases is usually different (this might not be a factor in youth games). The pitch is delivered in an underhanded motion in softball, but overhand or sidearm in baseball. Bats are slightly different for softball (more surface area). Other rule deviations may not apply to youth games, but come in to play at the high school level.
BeemerBoy Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 What is the difference between baseball and softball? Lesbians. And what Larry said.
larrygator Posted June 22, 2010 Author Posted June 22, 2010 ^Like I said, there are more differences once it gets to the high school level.
Chris Benvenuto Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 I think also bunting is discouraged in Softball, well when it comes to HS softball and college it's discouraged.
