Canada'swonderlandfanatic Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 As the park opened to the public today markers were obviously spotted in plain view around the park all patterned out in a coaster format. From various sources it appears Canada's Wonderland is getting their very first giga coaster, and well deserves this rich treatment for they are the money maker in Cedar Fair topping their attendance reports, and being the number one attended seasonal theme park in North America.
Fooz Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Immediately after Behemoth, and before any market data from Intimidator 305 exists? Color me unconvinced.
the ghost Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 A(not to backseat mid) this should go in the rumor thread. (B) Canada's Wonderland's chances of getting a gigga are extremely slim as Behemoth was the last addition. I cant think of any park in the world that has a gigga and a mega(B&M) coaster. Cedar Point is the only park I can think of with a gigga and a hyper. ^ Beat me to it.
Canada'swonderlandfanatic Posted May 3, 2010 Author Posted May 3, 2010 (edited) Behemoth was built in 2008, and Canada's Wonderland has been their top attended park for 7 years now look up theme park attendance report. Various sources...what sources? How can you tell from ground level markers are patterned out in a coaster format? Their very first giga? How many do they plan on getting lol ?
Canada'swonderlandfanatic Posted May 3, 2010 Author Posted May 3, 2010 (edited) "their very first" is a form of expression and the area of land they span over is in the shape of a coaster and sources to which cannot be named. Just check out LINK REMOVED in the rumors thread for pictures. Edited May 3, 2010 by jedimaster1227
jarmor Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 But couldnt a train ride or a monorail or old time car ride be in the shape of a "coaster" when just looking at footer markers? Im just not seeing this happening right now...even as the most attended seasonal park in north america.
