Photo TR: Teh Cops are outside my home!

Yeah, well, the quickest Photo TR ever, its just outside my house! I was walking outside and suddenly I see three cop cars (one of them unmarked). I wonder whats happening, so anyways I took some pics (stealthly, so I dont get caught) and if any of you sleuths could see whats happening.

Im gonna go out on a limb and say drug bust.

They probably pulled a guy over, searched his car, and found drugs. If that were in Easley they would have had like 10 more cop cars there, everything has to be blown out of proportion here.

Dude! We had cops and SWAT all on our street at 5:00 this morning, armed with Ak 47's as they were searching for an armed suspect. 2 SWAT members were hiding behind our cars. I was too lazy to get up and get pictures though...especially if they have guns out and ready to shoot.

We had an incident like that, and it was pretty freaky. I was sitting at the kitchen table when all the sudden I heard a motorcycle roar up, and I hear someone shout "get on the ground, now!!" I peeked between the blinds to see a bike cop pointing a pistol at a man standing in the yard across the street from my house... and the owner of the house standing in his driveway totally confused..

Next thing I know, 3 other bike cops rolled up.. then 2 unmarked crown vics.. there were about 5 guys now with guns pointing at the suspect and one on his radio. About 5 min go by and 2 ford Expeditions pull up, and unmarked and a sherriff. By now the street is completely blocked off with law enforcement people. I finally got a good look at the suspect, and it was a kid, probably about 15.

They got him on the ground, and took him away in the sherriffs Expedition. Then everyone dispursed , and the owner of the house got back to work on his lawn like nothing happened. I asked him about it later, appearently the the 15 year old beat up his girlfriend pretty bad, left her, and threatened to come back with a weapon of some sort. I guess he was fleeing from the cops and happened to jump my neighbors fence right as a bike cop drove by. Its great for his girlfriend that he had such bad luck.

 

Kinda freaked me out a bit, but I realized Im in a pretty good neighborhood and that kind of stuff could happen anywhere.

do swat people use ak47s? i thought they used like m16 or something.

I went by what I heard...I was too lazy to get up and find out as I only had 45 minutes of sleep left, which I needed.

No Big Deal. Cops can go where ever they want. And they arent after you.

Drug bust.

(feeling jilted) we only had three squad cars in front of my neighbors when a corner hold up went south and two innocents were killed.

 

Look at the bright side. They could've been FDA and the US Marshals smashed thru your frontdoor like they did my buddy and his family. The FDA had the wrong addy. Darn near gave my buddy's mom a heart attack. Nothing quite like starting your day with three shotguns pointed at ya and huge guys yelling: "Freeze or we're gonna blow your head off!"

Well, they got a whole new doorway as a result, and a nice vacation in the Bahamas.
