Pufferfish
This is a new park that I have recently started out of boredom. For those of you who have seen my last post in the preview thread, you already know what this park is based on. For those of you that haven't, this park is based on Cryptozoology, or the study of unidentified creatures. Currently the plans are to have 4 themed sections in the park, United States, Mexico, Canada, and Europe. I am working on a fairly small map so these plans might change. Please note, this park is still a work in progress and things are liable to change at any given moment. This update: United States. Current completion in section, about 80%. Only 1 attraction and a few landscaping touch-ups left until the area's completion. Enjoy the pictures! SCR20.BMP The entry plaza with a McDonald's and The Observatory, an Intamin observation tower. The empty area is for a later attraction. SCR21.BMP A small view of the rest of the area. SCR32.BMP This is the Crypto Museum. A small museum of cryptozoology. It also features a large theater showing a Documentary on the subject. SCR22.BMP Big Foot, the park's GCI wooden. SCR31.BMP A look at the rest of the layout. thrillrideseeker
Such a small little park, but the park does look great! I really like the layout of "Big Foot" well at least what I can see of the layout! Keep up the good work. ~Matthew
AJClarke0912
It'd be cool to get some more wide supports on some of the high turns, as GCI has wide supports on just about everything. Also, I'd rather the track be all gray-ish brown versus the half-and-half, but that's just me. It really probably doesn't matter...
Pufferfish
^I've been thinking about adding a couple more supports in a few places as well. I'll try out your idea for a color scheme and I'll post a picture of it and then I'll let all the viewers decide on which color option stays. Doerzb91
wow incredible already, just one question off topic how did you get you CF bar to show up in your profile/signature? but still in the works to be a great park
Pingu1651
Nice idea for a park! Sometimes I see it hard to stick to a theme, but you're obviously better at RCT than me. I think you should make a B&M flying coaster called the Mothman. That'd be killer! (yes, people still use that word).
Mastersax68
Very original idea! You're executing it very well, it looks like. Good job!
Pufferfish
^^ You obviously didn't see my post in the preview thread did you, or was that sarcasm? Thanks for all the nice comments! I'm just going to edit this post to make a quick update. Featured tonight, the European themed area of the park. I use the term "European" kinda loosely. I'm not really good at doing European architecture with RCT2, especially with the surprisingly limited selection of scenery objects I put into this map. Anyways, shoving that out of the way, onto some pictures. SCR18.BMP Those of you who saw my post in the preview thread have already seen this exact same screenshot. Sorry, I was too lazy to take another shot. The buildings have been dressed up a bit more from this though, as was suggested to me. I will cover this ride in particular next update. SCR35.BMP Tonight's star: Loch. A water coaster themed to the Loch Ness Monster. SCR34.BMP ... SCR36.BMP Thanks for looking! Psst, if I get enough comments I will release a very early sneak peek at the Mexican section of the park.
the ghost
What you've got so far is pretty nice. It does kind of look like a real park, and all of the rides are awesome. My only real suggestion is to use a bit more variey in the roofs and buildings. They are slightly blocky, but can be spruced up pretty easily. DarkStitch626
Personally I like the wooden coaster the most. The water coaster "loch" comes in close second. The parks general feel is good and yes I know its not complete. Its a great idea I will give you that. I do hope there will be a ton more trees!
