Hmm, wonder how we could solve this problem. I'll start visiting that thread more.

To answer your question, Pumpy means the ride feels weird. such as turns, It should be one smooth motion, not multiple ones jerky turns.

Also drops are the same issue.

Sorry about the spammy thread. I've asked that question a couple times in the help thread and it just got repeatedly buried and nobody ever answered me. I guess I'll try again.

You asked it once, and it's the last question in the NL Help Thread. You have to give it time.

Well, it wasnt handled promptly. Paintballer, who had the answer, posted first to instruct him where to post it. Sort of a "hey, buddy, wrong place." then, his next reply is laced with sarcasm again about how he was in the wrong, THEN hes actually helped.

then, after i give a detailed help (or just before...on phone, dont have time to go backk) mcjaco again has to remind him how he posted in the wrong place.

i know all about keeping boards "clean" but i dont see an issue with threads devoted to individual problems. Its 100 times easier than sifting through huge threads. And search doesnt always work, sometimes spelling or terminology thwarts those efforts. Pumping in NL is, like the "rules" thread, something that wouldnt hurt popping up to the top every so often. Many people still dont understand it or know of the term.

id have done the same thing he did. Threads get noticed far faster than huge, sticky topics that contain 20 pages and your answer is buried somewhere in there.

I didn't remind him, I was repsonding to his accusation that he had asked a few times. He hadn't. It asked the question once in the right thread, and almost immediately started his own thread asking the same thing. That's a no-no in any forum I've ever been a part of, even the crappy ones. Second, paintballer gave him help, not you.

If people actually "searched" before posting, you'd have a legitimate argument. But they don't, which is why the Sticky threads are there. We used to have nothing but the same questions being asked over and over. The Stikies were created because many of the daily TPR Games Forum posters requested them.

Instead of the snarky attitude you've decided to implore us with lately, perhaps being a part of the solution would be a better way of presenting your issues with TPR.

ie: "Maybe we should have a No Limits Dictionary thread for these types of reoccuring questions."

^I think an NL dictionary thread would be a great idea.

So long as the OP updates the first post so everything is on the first post so everything is there instead of just scattered throughout the thread.

Actually, I think a NoLimits dictionary is an excellent idea. There are a lot of newbies who don't take the time to learn it, and the terminology is so jargony now that the program's been out for years, they're not going to find any answers by searching key words. They'll just find people saying "that's too pumpy" or "I like pressing 'I' to make a straight lift."

We could have a sticky thread where we show examples in rides or images of all the issues people could have with NoLimits.

The first post would have to have links to all the answers. That way it'd be a little easier to weed through 20 pages. Real's got a point.

Ok, all this back and forth with the rules drama and bullshit is going to stop NOW.

I'm f**king sick of it.

We will start banning people who keep posting drama and obnoxious comments.

If you want to come here and post and have fun with this forum, we encourage that.

If you are going to constantly post about how you don't like the way this forum is run, well, let me make this very clear and easy for you...

GO POST SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

None of the moderators here have the time to put up with this stupid, pointless, petty bullshit.

It's stopping now.

mcjaco, you have my permission to permanently ban from Theme Park Review anyone who continues any bickering or drama in this games forum.

We are here to have fun. If you can't deal with that...LEAVE!

EDIT!

ps. It only took me 14 seconds using our search function to find the answer to the orignal posters question.
