Lots of dancing people at Gröna Lund, Stockholm!

I found this video in the Swedish media. It's a dance group with the name Bounce. They are known to just show up and start dancing in public places. This clip is from Gröna Lund in Stockholm.

Very interesting. I'd like to see them show up at SFMM and do something like that. Trouble is, though, I don't think it would be appreciated as much.

Yea, this sorta thing wouldnt be as embraced in the states thought its such a GREAT artistic expression. LOVE it.

This phenomena is called a Flash Mob and they do happen in the states from time to time. It doesnt necessarily have to have dancing involved, but the biggest/most popular ones seem to be dance related.

 

We had one here in Vegas on the strip last year to promote awareness over climate change (or something like that)...unfortunately there was no dancing involved

Ha! Fantastic! the dance wasn't anything as extravagant as what we saw in that T mboile dance flash mob, but I LOVE the wya it started with everyone domino'ing diwn the line.

 

I am actually a member of several flash mob groups. We've done some somewhat similar things bofore. Like an MP3 party where everyone dances in the street to their own music, or a freeze (A copy of the famous grand central freeze in new york)

 

 

But yeah, the most famous flash mobs take place in America. Mostly in New York. Youtube Improv Everywhere to see some of thier owrks.

 

It is a whole lot of fun, I can tell you! We recently organized the biggest water fight in the world, and it was an absolute blast.
