What are European Intamin accelerator coasters like?

I have been on every Intimin accelator coaster in the U.S. , I have a big interest in them. The european ones seem very diffrent. They seem more about turns and airtime (Rita,Desert Race) or not breaking records and having inversion(Speed monster,Kanonen). Pretty much I'm asking how do they stack up to the U.S. accelerators, and how are they different.

The European ones are more about turns and elements, while many of the US one are about speed and height.

As said, most of them are more about twists and turns. They tend to have lower top speeds than their American cousins but Stealth is a faster accelerating coaster, accelerating from 0-80mph in 1.8 S. It accelerates nearly 4 ms^-2 than Kingda Ka. Now that is FAST.

I think it you take Kingda Ka and Top Thrill Dragster out of the mix, they are all pretty similar to each other. Some are built closer to the ground, like Rita, Desert Race, and Furius Baco, and some of them have top hats, like Stealth, Zaturn, Sky Car, iSpeed, Superman Escape, and Kanonen.

 

Really if you look at the entire collection of Intamin accelerator - US, Europe, or Asia based, I don't think they are as different as you seem to think they are.

The only difference about the European ones is the fact that while your waiting in line, people around you are smoking....

 

But yea, they all have there similar traits, regardless of where they are.

^Totally agree, that ride just bashed my neck on those stupid OTSR's. Wouldnt have been so bad it they weren't so thin.

Yeah but Rita's just crap, like you say, painful and it's not worth the pain as you only get the teeniest bit of airtime out if it

 

Stealth, whilst being stupidly short, is awesome because the whole of it is extreme, amazing launch, great airtime at the top, (sometimes it feels like ejector! ) and then great airtime over the bunny hop.

For what it's worth I actually really enjoyed Rita, and it's German counterpart Desert Race.

I also really enjoy Desert Race. I sat in the front, middle, and back and had no pain what-so-ever. Is Rita suppose to be worse? I do know that it is a little older.

I didn't find Rita particularly painful.....There is that sharp transition into the first turn where a 'neck bash' can happen, but its not particularly hard to avoid if you hold steady for a couple of seconds. The rest of the ride is quite fun, a good feeling of speed, with a couple of fun pops of airtime.

i think all the european rollercoasters are different than USA coasters...

Your joking right? How are they different? Stealth is just a miniature version of Kinda Ka, without the 270 degree twist going down.

I found RITA painful (neckbashing) at 3 or 4 points. I have only been on it once since the wait seems to be 45+ minutes when I have gone and it doesn't seem worth it. Wasn't a bad ride, but wasn't that great either. The neckbashing depends on your shape I guess, like a lot of other rides which people have varying experiences on.

I think iSPEED is the accellerator of new generation, whit TopHat and soo faster inversions.
