I believe tickets are only $22 if you buy them at one of the Krogers in the area...(which is a VERY good deal!)

It's $32 for a 1 day ticket at Krogers. If you have AAA, you can get a ticket for $27

Why all the hate on going on DB first? The line goes by extremely fast. Your almost never standing still.

This is my order for the park, and I find that I can get everything done before 2pm.

-Diamondback

-FireHawk

-Flight of Fear

-Vortex

-The Beast

-Diamondback again. (It's around noon by now, and everyone is going to be eating, or at the waterpark.)

-Racer

-Delirium

-Face Off

-Drop Zone

-Top Gun

Adventure Express and Italian Job isn't worth it.

I find that it's usually around 2pm-4pm after doing all of this. I either leave the park to go eat. (Not paying $15 for a 6inch sub, a cookie, and a bottle water again.) or go to the water park to chill by the wavepool for a couple hours.

Diamondback, FireHawk, Flight of Fear, and The Beast are repeats.

Just make sure to ride FireHawk really early or really late. Everyone is at Diamondback at these times. (Even though it still goes really fast) You're pretty much gurateneed about a 10-20 minute wait if you do it this way.

Is the food expensive there?(im use to going to holiday world and eating there )LOL.

I recommend leaving the park to eat somewhere else. Like I said in my last post, they have a Subway there. I paid $15 for a 6 inch sub, cookie, and a drink. Not worth it. You can save much more, and drive a couple minutes up the street and they got everything there.

I also recommend just getting a cup of water if your thirsty. All pop machines are $3.75 for one 20oz.

The price for food and drinks really add up if you don't prepare for it.

A 6 inch sub alone there was $7. Basically everything there is about $4-$5 overpriced. So if you absouelty need something, I recommend brining a sandwhich and going back to your car and eat it.

Taco Bell, McDonald's, and Burger King are right next to the street that takes you Kings Island. There's a bunch of other places on the other side of the bridge over the highway. I'm not to sure of what's over there, but there is plenty. You won't get loss since it's only 2 streets away. You'll see the Taco Bell and the McDonald's right before you turn into KI.

Say what you will about Backlot, but Adventure Express is hands down one of the best mine rides around. If you don't have the credit it's a must ride at Kings Island. I can only think of a few mine trains in the country that I like better.

^Thank you for bringing that up, lol. Both of the mentioned coasters are some of the most fun in the park. Plus, Adventure Express never has a long line, and Backlot Stunt Coaster is definitely worth a 30 minute wait---just make sure to request the back row.

No hatin'...we're just advising against it. Like you said, Diamondback's line us always moving, so it never gets too long. But most of the other rides in the park have poor capacity, and therefore, gather VERY long lines if you don't do them first.

Diamondback has the longest wait at the very beginning of the day, but gets shorter after just a little while. Firehawk/Invertigo have the shortest wait at the beginning of the day, but get much longer soon afterwards.

That's why it would be much wiser to get the low-capacity attractions out of the way, first.
