Jack Rimer Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Here are some pics of the pre-production Maverick trains from our forum. We also have Top Thrill Statix coming. These will be in the park in early August. You can look on the previous page in our forum for pics of the Canonball from Lake Winnie too. http://coasterdynamix.com/forum.aspx?mode=thread&TopicID=1017&page=13
ericmichaellucas Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Looking brilliant!!! Can you post the link for the pictures of TTD if they are available. I've been a fan of CD since I heard of you and purchased my own Scorpian. Sadly I had to pack it away due to a lack of space in my new flat. Will be looking forward to purchasing some of your Statix if they are available from your site??
Jack Rimer Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 All the Statix are available from the parks only. Sorry. Due to copyright laws, the individual parks own the rights for the rides. Just call the merchandise department for details. I have some TTD pics I will post later today or tomorrow.
ericmichaellucas Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Cool. I look forward to drooling over them. I read on the CD site some months back that Merlin Entertainment were testing your product. Is that true? If so, sign me up as the first purchaser of Nemesis Inferno Statix or track model if they consider it.
Jack Rimer Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 Yes, but we have put all inverted Statix on hold right now. We need to redesign them so we can manufacture them for less money and have them travel without coming apart. There are 182 pcs on an inverted train! ....About one third of that on these new ones. Once we redesign them, we will revisit the Merlin option.
haux Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Too bad they're Statix. A friend of mine is making a recreation of Maverick. He's pretty far along, but I don't think he's touched it in awhile.
themeparkman25 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Can you purchase just a working model of a train? I guess in a broader sense, can you just buy individual CD parts or do you have to buy sets?
DiSab Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Very sexy. I may have to pick up a set when they're released.
Jack Rimer Posted June 27, 2009 Author Posted June 27, 2009 TTD pics are up on the same page now too.
DBru Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 Those look incredibly cool! Do the TTD statix come in different colors, as well?
Jack Rimer Posted June 27, 2009 Author Posted June 27, 2009 Yes. Red, green, and the color shown (yellow/orange).
