Ok first off if theres a thread like this, then it is pretty hard to find, because I searched a bunch of words related to this, and nothing showed up. If any of you find it, I will be shocked.

Now as the title says, "Worst Amusement Park Experiences" its pretty much self explanatory, just give a story of your worst time at a park.

Now for me my worst experience has to be at Kings Dominion, when I was 3. I was at the Nick Splash House, and sense of my age I could not read the signs reading "Do Not Run". Now when I went into the maze, I run right into a pole. Now, right after that I was was then rushed to the hospital where I got 5 stitchs above my eye. Theres still a scar above it too show.

It's not really that bad but here's my story:

In the summer of 1998, the movie Titanic was still HUGELY popular. We're talking people were going all "beanie baby-crazy" & "hannah montana-crazy" over it. Well, seeing as how Paramount had the rights to the film, of course Kings Island was host to the Titanic Travelling Experience (or something like that). It pretty much amounted to a few rooms with costumes, props & photos from the movie. We happened to visit the park on the last day the show was going to be there. It was also Fourth of July weekend. To this day, my wife and I still agree that it was the most crowded place we have ever been...and not just amusement parks. The most crowded place period. There was actually a wait just to walk down international street. It took us over 5 minutes to make it from end to end of the international fountains. We were at the park for 9 hours and I only managed to ride 4 rides: Wave Swinger, Adventure Express, Lazy River at the Waterpark, and the Flow Rider at the Waterpark. My wife managed to add Flight of Fear to that list, but that's it.

We were having to try to have fun and that's when we knew it was a bad day. Funny thing, I distinctly remember that by some miracle, even with all of those people the bathrooms were always walk-ons! Imagine that. As we were leaving, a group of management was by the gates talking. Not being a KI regular, I asked them if it was always this bad. He said it was the most crowded day he had seen in over 10 years there. Of course that's the day we picked to go.

But a bad day at the park still beats a great day at work IMO.

^On the other hand, as long as it doesn't fall on a weekend, July 3rd isn't a bad day to visit the park by any means, and the fireworks celebration is just as grand as the following evening.

I, luckily, haven't had too many bad amusement park experiences, but my worst was probably at Knott's in June 2008. I hadn't visited the park in a really long time, and the only credit I had was Timberline Twister .

I ended up waiting 1 hour for my first ride on Silver Bullet (little did I know that this ride is uaually a walk-on!), about 5 minutes for Montezooma's Revenge and Jaguar (I hated Montezooma's Revenge, but I now really enjoy it), about 30 minutes for Boomerang (horrible), 1 hour+ for Perilous Plunge (tons of line jumpers, but an awesome ride!), about 20 minutes for Timber Mountain Log Ride (I had also ridden this before, a great, fun ride), 2 hours for Bigfoot Rapids (not very fun, and this remains the longest I've waited for a ride/coaster), and about 20 minutes for Sierra Sidewinder (hated this one too). I also got in 2 more rides on Silver Bullet.

Ghostrider was closed, and Pony Express broke down before I got to it and never re-opened. Oh, Xcelerator, yeah...I was scared of it .

So basically, the park was pretty crowded. I got a lot of rides in (IMO), but overall I didn't have a fun semi-first time at Knott's.

I can't say that I really say that I had any bad experiences that would be at blame towards park operations. However, last season, my cousin, bro, and I were at CGA when for some reason, my bro was not in a riding mood, being a complete 'deadhead.' He only wanted to ride select rides, one on 1 end of the park, and back over to the other end for another skipping all the ones between. The end of the day came to the climax when we had a half hour till closing and were going to end with a few re-rides. He went off another direction, then claimed that we left him. The entire ride home was silent...no excitement of what we accomplished that day.

One other session was during Haunt last season when one of my bro's idiot 'friends' constantly tried spoiling everything in the mazes. I kindly wanted to tell him to STFU or leave, but he was in our responsibility so the 'leave' option was not available...I remedied that real fast by letting my bro and him go 1 direction, and my cousin and I redo the mazes with no spoilers.

Last summer when I went to SFMM on a Thursday in July & I ended up waiting 2 1/2 hours for X2. I thought I was going to loose my mind but it ended up being so worth it & it was my first time ever on X2 since I never went on the original X.
