Isn't that one of the pictures from an old brochure of Canada's Wonderland? Possibly the Wilde Beast?

That's what I thought as well, although the train is going the wrong direction.

The picture could just be flipped though.

This is ride definitely NOT SOB.

It does look like a pic used in an old Wonderland brochure. If it IS Wilde Beast, the pic has been flipped since the train is going in the wrong direction on the first turn.

^^Link to someone's wedding page where they use that photo. They met on the Grizzly.

Doesn't mean that the photo is actually of the Grizzly, though. And of course, the first turns on both Grizzly and Wild(e) Beast point in the exact same direction, so we can't judge by the position of the sunset.

edit: and you would see the rest of CGA in the background if it was Grizzly. Definitely Wild(e) Beast.

The very last picture on the lower right is the original picture in question.

Given the fact that we can't see the rest of PGA in the background probably sets it in stone as Wilde Beast (like the guy above said).

EDIT: Yeah, the trains definitely aren't right.

The pic reminds of Disney's Coaster (the awesome old game where you design and ride your own coasters. There was even a panel of judges.) As you were closing the game, I'm pretty sure it showed a "money shot" of a wood coaster and a sun-set.

Oh, Disney's Coaster.

Those are definitely not Morgans, so I agree about it now being CGA Grizzly. And the lack of trees rules out KD's.

I'm convinced it's either CW Wilde Beast or possibly the defunct Bush Beast at Australia's Wonderland.

This could well be the bush beast from Australia's Wonderland. The ride's first turn was out towards the front of the park closest to the highway, so you would not be able to see any buildings behind it. The first photo is the correct way for the ride to be facing, but the one thing wrong is the location of the sun, as it is in the south from that photo.

EDIT: Ok, found the link for the couple that met on the "Grizzly" coaster.

Should put an end to it....

^^ Upon further inspection of the trains it seems that it can't be The Grizzly. I guess it's just a coincidence that my Google image search of "the grizzly pga" produced the exact picture in question. In all of my nerdy excitement, I proclaimed it to be The Grizzly without checking out the trains.

Sorry for the long link but that is a similar angle without the first drop.

It looks like they have reprofiled it a little since 1998 when I was there that hill was not that banked when I rode it.

Not a co-incidence, that picture seems to be used online as CGA's Grizzly.

Just seems like a few places are using the wrong picture, passing it off as a different ride.
