CCJared Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I have just posted a contest over on my new website, http://www.coasterchamber.com/forums/ Feel free to take a look and sign up to the site if you wish to enter the contests and such that will be posted there. It's espcecially for coasters.
CCJared Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 Sorry to double post, is anyone interested in this?
rollerboy Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Hmm, maybe. I have started working on one just to see how it goes. I think the area may be a bit too small. Anyone found this as well? Anyway I'll keep trying and see how it goes.
CCJared Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 To enter you'll need to sign up for an account on the forums.
monkeyoverlord71 Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I signed up and will probably join.
kumba830 Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Language file ./language/en/mods/points.php couldn't be opened Can you also post the rules on here....
CCJared Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 Language file ./language/en/mods/points.php couldn't be opened Where did you get that error from?
kumba830 Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 When I tried to open up a topic... oh and I'm in!
dr.gumbo Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I'm getting the same error for some reason, I can't read any of the topics anymore.
CCJared Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 I am workin got fix the problem. It annother Database Error, i'm on the case. Shoule be back up soon.
thrillrideseeker Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 I think that you should put the contest on here too. I do not feel like having to join another forum just to do a contest. I say put the contest on this site as well. ~Matthew
rollerboy Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 ^ Agreed. It looks like a pretty cool contest but to be honest I don't really feel like joining another forum as I am an member of 3 already.
CCJared Posted February 18, 2009 Author Posted February 18, 2009 All the rules and details you need to join this contest are available here. http://www.coasterchamber.com/community/contests.php There is no need to sign up to join this contest.
thrillrideseeker Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I will give it a shot! I love building euro-fighters! I hope this coaster turns out to be good!! ~Matthew
the ghost Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Sure, I'm in. I've got nothing better to do, and although I don't expect to win, I'll just have some fun with it.
Rocket Rodder Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I'll do it! I'm the complete novice though, I' sure mine will make for good comic relief. (I'll still try! And It'll be a blast!) Can there be a launch section or does it have to be a chain only lift?
rollerboy Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Go on then. I know for a fact I wont win but. But heck, I'll give it a shot anyway.
thrillrideseeker Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 So I was reading the rules, and I know it says that the track must stay in the blue box, well can supports and other stuff go outside the blue box?! ~Matthew
dr.gumbo Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 ^ It says the 'coaster' must stay in the track so I would assume that includes the supports and what not.
CCJared Posted February 19, 2009 Author Posted February 19, 2009 That include the supports, nothing apart from the scenary is allowed to leave the blue box.
thrillrideseeker Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Now it says the coaster must pass the tunnel test, if part of the template enters the tunnel, is that considered a fail, or will the template be deleted after you evaluate our coasters? ~Matthew
CCJared Posted February 19, 2009 Author Posted February 19, 2009 The template does not count as part of the tunnel test rules. Apart from the Red box. Nothing can enter that box.
