Anfronee
Well I am impressed. lol I absolutely suck at this game. I bought it last night and I can not figure it out. It is pretty hard to control with a touch pan instead of a mouse. I am on year 2 of Vanilla Park, and I still need 27,000 dollars before I become Tycoon. I am not having trouble getting people into my park. I have over 800. I just am not doing so well with earning money. Any suggestions? PS. I miss having ready-made coasters. I suck at building them. Oh and how do people build buildings over their stations? I have no clue how to go about doing that.
the ghost
You do know there are already made coasters right? I am among a huge group of people that prefer RCR2 over RCT3 and I honestly believe the ride your rides feature is the only good feature. THe scenery is terrible in 3 and the rides are far less realistic(you have to use MF trains for every wooden roller coaster.)

terrancew_hod
You do know there are already made coasters right? I am among a huge group of people that prefer RCR2 over RCT3 and I honestly believe the ride your rides feature is the only good feature. THe scenery is terrible in 3 and the rides are far less realistic(you have to use MF trains for every wooden roller coaster.) I had to look at the atari forum to see which version is more popular. Over the last month rct2 had over 4 thousand threads and RCT 3 had about 48 thousand. Somehow I think you're in the minority. All versions of the rct series had cartoonish graphics and the earily versions were saddled down with a limit (because of the 2d graphics) of what you could put in the park. Also you had to hack the program to get the sandbox mode as well as other features, because Chris Sawyer was dumb enough to think that people should only be allowed to play the game when people were clamoring for the additional features (it's called replay value!). Personall, the only thing I miss, being a sandbox player, is the screams the peeps made when riding coasters! With custom scenery, you can put together some pretty cool items. The only disadvantage is that you need a pretty good graphic card to handle it! Anyway, back to topic. I like the tower coaster in your park, and having not made a river rapids, is the extra wide parts available in the game or is there some trick to it? @Anfronee: I got this from a hint book: * keep ad campaigns going to get people in * drop in a ATM machine or two * try putting a path sign near the entrance so peeps can't leave. * no need to add food or drink because the peeps don't want them and it requires hiring a janitor. * put in lots of thrill rides, not necessarily coasters Terry
Anfronee
Hey Terry. Thanks for the advice. So sorry for thread jacking. I have just one more question. How do you make the buildings around the launch area? I keep trying to add walls but it wont let me add a second story. Is there a website I can go to answer these questions? thrillrideseeker
Hey Terry. Thanks for the advice. So sorry for thread jacking. I have just one more question. How do you make the buildings around the launch area? I keep trying to add walls but it wont let me add a second story. Is there a website I can go to answer these questions? To build a second story you just hold down shift while placing it object. As for it not allowing you, try moving the wall so that it takes up the square next to he launch track but is still in the same location... Does that make sense? Like you can turn the wall, but it will still be in the same location... So just try that... it might help... I like the tower coaster in your park' date=' and having not made a river rapids, is the extra wide parts available in the game or is there some trick to it?/[/quote'] It is just something that comes with the game! I am not smart enough to figure out any of those trick things!! Now for the update!! DBru
I had to look at the atari forum to see which version is more popular. Over the last month rct2 had over 4 thousand threads and RCT 3 had about 48 thousand. There's a problem in your theory, Terry. Atari is a site to share *RCT3* projects, after all, Atari made the game... I'll have to agree with Ghost on this one.
