Rastuso Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 So, anybody here make a haunt in their front yard? We're really ramping up this year. Five years ago I built a 6 foot tall spider, then the next year an 8 foot tall Grim Reaper. This year, for the 5th anniversary, I'm working on a 12 foot tall Pumpkin Warrior. Anybody else build stuff for thier yard? RO It's a Mister Grim, something about the reaping. Here's the spider, attacking my son.
Wood Dragon 1988 Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 I've done this for a couple years, but probably won't this year, because I'm off at school. Maybe I will haunt my dorm room. This may not look like much, but it was all bought from a grocery-store clerks budget. The best part was definitely the strobe lights, fog machine, and music. With the lights on. I carved that.....one of my greatest artistical works by far. Out at the mailbox. lol...you can barely even see the skull and headstones I probably payed $10 for. Night shot. I stole the toilet paper idea from Kennywood Themed entrance Cheap decorations - gotta love them!
TheBannedKid Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Unfortunately I don't have pictures of my house since my mom doesn't know how to take pictures at night. But I do have a video. I am the Leatherface character, but this year we may go with a zombie theme much like Quarantine. Anyways, here is my house two years ago. And I want to appologize if some parts are slow. Or embarrassing to Jahan! Haunt_2006.wmv My 2006 Haunted Yard

ECZenith Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 When I lived in Rhode Island, every Halloween I would make a backyard trail haunt. Here's some photos from 2006's Terror Trail. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30253&highlight=terror+trail
Macca1111 Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 These are great! Makes me want to start setting something up...
socalMAN123 Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 I applaud all of you who actually take the time and effort to make a yard haunt. I'll be working one this year in La Crescenta with Antonio, come check it out! ---Brent
