Bush985 Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 CGA has posted a new blog site through the PR department. http://cfpl3.cagreatamerica.com/public/fun/blog/index.cfm Check it out. Some preview pictures of Haunt. Opens Friday! -RD
Angry_Gumball Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 *Hopes to see updates for upcoming woodie* Glad to finally see CGA do this, as this could throw us clues to upcoming new rides and stuff.
DiSab Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 I just saw this today. Looks pretty good. Glad to see that former Paramount Parks are getting the CF-style blogs on their websites. Now if KI can get on the ball and start one up...
Bush985 Posted October 2, 2008 Author Posted October 2, 2008 Really can't wait to see what else this blog has in store. The Haunt mazes are looking really good.
laqueefa Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 I'm super excited for this blog. Hopefully we get some real insider news on whats happening with the new woodie. Hey TPR's, anyone going to the opening of CGA Haunt tonight? I'm thinking of dusting off the ol Platinum Pass
Sunfire Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 I'm going to Haunt tomorrow night. It will be fun...
Bush985 Posted October 4, 2008 Author Posted October 4, 2008 Was there tonight, will be there tomorrow night. Things went well tonight. Talent was very active!
ILoveRitalin Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 ^ So in your opinion, is the Haunt at CGA worth going to? How does it stack up against what DK has or what Knott's does? Obviously Knott's has been doing it a lot longer, but I'd be curious to know from anyone that's been to CGA's version. Later, Justin
Bush985 Posted October 4, 2008 Author Posted October 4, 2008 I really enjoyed what the park had to offer. The talent are all still learning, but the maze quality is outstanding, and honestly like you said, you can't really compare 1 year to 36 at this point... but.... It will blow Fright Fest at SFDK out of the water. I promise. You should check it out, I had a lot of fun.
ILoveRitalin Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 Really, that's kind of what I figured but I wanted to check. My coworker wanted to take her kids to DK to do the Halloween events. Seems like maybe I should tell her to take her kids to CGA instead. I'm still trying to convince my wife to let me take the family to DK so I can get my THBS credit. It's all about baby steps, baby steps...
Bush985 Posted October 4, 2008 Author Posted October 4, 2008 If they are looking for something scary, and quite a bit of it, CGA's Haunt is the way to go. Plus the normal park is open, and it really isn't a bad price. There are discount coupons available at Burger King locations, as well as other discounts floating around the market. I have yet to head over to DK to ride THBS. I will someday I presume.
Coaster Palooza Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Sorry it took so long to respond to this. The Blog is a great idea. I hope the updates keep on coming. ^I will give you a call if we make it out to the park this weekend!
Coaster Palooza Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 ^We will be going to the park this morning. We probably won't be there at opening, but we will get there! Look for the Big Mike Yellow Shirt...
