KPWoCkAxX
I would never blame it on Dbru! I'm sorry to blame that on you. Update Sorry, I was meant to post this last night but due to internet problems I was unable to. Not much has changed really, I know I promised something big but now that I look back on it it seems pretty minor..... I'm starting with Stallion. I've been focusing on the supports. I thought they weren't good enough so I've gona back and re-done them all, also I've altered the ending of the ride. This is what they look like now, the lift hill has the same supports just on a larger scale. The first bunny hill and the enterance to the Turnaround. The turnaround itself. The new final section of the ride. It features a Upward Helix, A bunny Hill and a Corkscrew - In that order. An overview of Stallion now. The new Rock Waterfall feature on Bandit. That's pretty much it, but I'll leave you with this. Sneaking around in the forest trying to capture some shots of bandit I saw this........ Hmm........ They're up to something! Thelegendarymatthew
This feels like one of them western parks that are in the woods. Maverick style! Oh get ride of that random corkscrew! -Matt
DBru
Loving this park! ...except for that corkscrew. Please remove it.
Six Flags Enthuseast
Yeah, the corkscrew is 'ok,' but it is a bit weird. Is this a hyper, floorless, twister, or standup? Because if it is a hyper, it would be the first with an inversion! Keep up the good stuff!
Six Flags Enthuseast
EDIT: Double post. Sorry!
KPWoCkAxX
Ok, I see what you mean, I'll just remove the corkscrew, maybe swap it for another helix......
BelgianGuy
I agree with the "weirdness" of the corkscrew but I wouldn't place another helix, it seems a stock option and I don't say thats a bad thing but you can do better than another helix For the rest its all looking okay, especially the waterfall!!! By the way wich support pack do you use because they really look good
KPWoCkAxX
I use Moby's Steel Jungle, it's tedious at first, but you'll get the hang of it soon.
Thelegendarymatthew
I like it because it helps out on those compact coasters and its the most realisitc! Go Mobeys steel jungle!!!!1!!
kamikazewatermelon
bandit a la Maverick. What the heck is that? The ride is called Bandit. I'll add a Rock tunnel somewhere. à la (ˈɑ lɑ, ˈɑ lə) –preposition 1. according to; in the manner of. Just clearing things up. I meant some rock formations in the style of Maverick. BelgianGuy
Thanks for the hint on the supports, I use steelworks and I think its really limited in options for instance I haven't found a way to make cool supports on diagonal pieces of track with the cs I'm using so thanks. Back on topic I've said it before and I'll say it again, amazing parks and I hope you can figure somthing out for Stallion that adds to the ride. Keep it up!!! Six Flags Enthuseast
Idea: since this is a western themed park, why not add an S&S tower that's western themed? I think it would be cool and would add a bit more altitude to this park. If you have Old Spice Corkscrew Supports, you could make something like this: I made one for my park, maybe you could do a dual one instead. One's brown, one's gold. KPWoCkAxX
Just clearing things up. I meant some rock formations in the style of Maverick. Well why didn't you just say so in the first place Thanks! Thanks for the advice guys, I like the S&S Tower idea, I'll see what I can do.
KPWoCkAxX
Update: It's been a while, but I've been pretty busy. I have plenty pictures to show you! And a new Contest for you guys to enter! So I'll start with that! Contest: Ok, I'm beginning to start on the new area, but for now I need some 'fillers' for the final plot of land that is left. Below I have placed a picture displaying the plots of land, your job is to pick a plot - 1, 2, 3 - and build something to go on it. Rules: - The structure must be no more than two sories high. - You can only use 'Western' type theming. - You must come up with a name and logo. - Your entries must be in by 'Wednesday' - CSO's Are Allowed Good luck guys, PM me with your applications! Competetors So Far: - Thelegendarymatthew - monkeyoverlord71 Ok, on to the update! Remember that Corkscrew? I removed it, and replaced it with a simple Banked S-Bend. Some of you may recall the lack of features on Bandit. Well remember that waterfall? Well, I replaced it with something that I think is much better. I added a nice tunnel with a rock feature in the middle, I think it looks much better! Remember this? Well, Construction is finally complete! Looks much better don't you think? I hope so! (Menu's are yet to be added). Teaser: I'll end this update with this, I wonder Where they go.......? Thanks for looking! Comments appreciated! Good luck with the Contest! Thelegendarymatthew
I'll enter, sense I have nothing else to do
monkeyoverlord71
Is it just a building for the contest or is it a ride? I like the tunnel and thank you for getting rid of the corkscrew! I do not however like the way it goes straight into an un-banked turn. EDIT: Can we use custom scenery such as the catfish cove set?
KPWoCkAxX
Use Catfish Cove by all means! That's what I've been using! I forgot to mention that really........ CSO's are allowed as of now!
Thelegendarymatthew
Hey my RCT3 Disk dosn't want to work, can I just do what they do over in the TPR Official Fairgrounds thing and just make a map?
Six Flags Enthuseast
Ok, I have a logo for my entry, but I can't paste it to a picture. Can someone help me?
traincrossin
I can try. What's wrong?
KPWoCkAxX
Ok some people have missunderstood the competition. The idea was that you use RCT3 to build something and then you post it on TPR so I can download it and judge it. You must only pick ONE plot not all three. I'm extending the contest to end at midnight on Sunday. That's GMT 00 Incase you don't know. Good luck, use these last few days wisely!
KPWoCkAxX
Well, since no-one even bothered to enter I've been left with but one option, and that's to build something myself. I'll come up with something, I always do. I'll try to do the final update tonight before 'Phase Two' begins.
Six Flags Enthuseast
The S&S tower idea would fit the area if you made it double! Just a suggestion. Sorry, but I couldn't enter because I didn't have a logo for the area.
KPWoCkAxX
Phase One Final Update! Well, phase one has come to an end. I'm proud to announce that this will be the final update for phase one before I begin work on phase two! This means a few things: - The park will get a name! - The theme will possibly change - More awesome rides can be constructed! So, I will now show you the final pictures! Remember those two caged up holes in the ground? Well......... They lead to this! It's an Launched Freefall Tower named Reach For The Sky. I can't remember it's stats! But oh well! You may recall a little contest I posted, and since no one entered I had to fill the space myself. So I'm proud to say that there has been a 5th ride added to the parks roster! So that currently totals it up with: - Stallion - Bandit - Twister - Thunder Bobs - Reach For The Sky So here is what I came up with: I had no idea what I was going to do, so. I placed a Thunder Bobs ride in the centre of the land area and I build a building around it. I've tried to avoid using too much brown like in some of my previous parks so I've used Grey, and Dark Coloured bricks. I think it looks quite nice, do you? And last but not least I leave you with a Current overview Shot. Things To Do: - Add lighting! [Top Priority!] - Begin Phase Two [i have No Idea What To Build!] If you have any suggestions as for what to do next please, please tell me! I've hit a sort of mental block because I'm currently reaching the point where I have no idea what to do next! Thanks for looking! Comments and Critisism appreaciated!
