televisedconfession Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 So these are my pictures from Martin's Fantasy Island and Behemoth Bash. I know there are 20 other ones out there on the board, but mine are actually taken with 35mm camera. (What's that?). Out of all the parks we went to, only Martin's had film, or maybe I just ran out of luck because no one knew what 35mm film was anymore. The girl at Martin's didn't know what it was at first, and didn't know that stuff still existed. (How sad). It was taken with 400 ISO, so not the best quality I could have hope for, but I think they came out well overall! But, these are the few pictures I had. Enjoy. Canada's Wonderland HORRAY FOR CANADA! Culture Credit! Loved Vortex. Loved it. The main event That first hill will sneak up on you if you're not careful. Put your hands up for Toronto! I love this city! Great turn around. Into the sky! Loved the airtime, just not the trimmings! Heading out! And back again! Lake shot! Loved the little airtime Great height. I LOVE YOU DIVING HELIX! The turn around. Ghetto Fascination! Loved this woodie. The surprise hit of the trip. Argh! I'm a Pirate! Silver Comet
dammie16@vt.edu Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 I wish I could have a 35mm camera! The pictures may not look as sharp as new sophisticated digitals but there is a certain awesomeness to these pictures that I enjoy!
natatomic Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Film...wow, it's like I'm looking at the photos of an Amish man. Anyway, great TR, and I applaud your dedication to all things old school.
mcjaco Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 I would like to point out that it's quite obvious that TPR men cannot handle their balls. Look at them. Just look at them. All over the floor.
All Clear Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 I think one of the more legendary moments of the trip was you bringing the house down with "I'm only happy when it rains" during thunderstorm ERT at Waldameer. It was sublime.

DCody Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 "I LOVE YOU, DIVING HELIX!" Hearing the romantic things people screamed at Behemoth was almost my favorite part of ERT!

dandaman Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 ^^In that case, hearing "YAY!" when the trims came on after the turnaround left me sexually confused. Behemoth Bash rocked, hands-down. (Or up. Whatever.)
robbalvey Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 What amused me what the "awwww....." that was heard when you hit the trim, but then on the other trims that weren't on you heard a quiet "yay..." as the train passed through the trim followed immediately by a louder "YAY!!!!" when you crested the hill. It was almost like it was rehearsed! --Robb
U2Rox Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 You get the outside perspective Robb!! I do remember that happening several times!! What a great Ride !!! Great Pix Neil!!!! I love the 17th pic down!! I could frame that!!!
Erik Johnson Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Great start for your first Photo:TR. I totally forgot that you were using a film camera on the trip. I can't wait to see the rest of them. Oh yes, I also loved Vortex as well, though I am such an Arrow suspended fanboy.
