I have ridden Behemoth upwards of 20 times, and on possibly every seat,

the the stadium seating really does what B&M says it does, it makes the ride's view the same for almost everyone.

Also, you really get whipped over that hill when your at the back.

I think 4 seat across is better looking than "triangle" design. Also I was wondering why can't they add a seat between 2 seats in the back row of a car.

This has been bothering me since Behemoth was introduced.

I've wondered the same thing, there's enough room for a 5th seat so why not .

I also agree that the 4 across look way better!!!!!

I don't know if it has been mentioned before, but B&M decided upon the new trains because it alows for a larger parabolic curve at the crests of each hill. This allows for longer floater airtime on each hill.

I know... I'm a nerd.

Could it be for weight displacement of the train? Seems like a short train would have an awful lot of force in a concentrated area versus a longer train.

I believe it has to do with a number of factors

1.) The View

2.)Stresses are reduced to track and train by spreading people out.

3.) It's easier to load 2 people per row than 4.

4.) Allows for more airtime with a longer train.

5.) In the future the "missing seats" arrangement will allow such things as a commode, microwave, entertainment center, and/or pet carriers to be placed on the longer world record-breaking rides that B&M has envisioned.
