printersdevil78
That's pretty cool! I used to race RC cars, but the closest thing I've come to RC boats were the coin-operated ones at Walt Disney World.

the big one
Sorry it's a little dead at the moment, but this thread will brighten up when I make the video and I recieve my trophy. But for now it's back to making coasters! ADMIN EDIT: Corrected spelling and grammar. This is an example of what your posts should look like! Thanks! - Colin
TheStig
Hey there! I see you are new, and thanks for joining TPR! I'd like to bring to your attention you text shorthand, lack of punctuation, and lack of spelling in your posts. PLEASE read our TOS located here before making any more posts. Also, you do not need to bump your posts like you just did for the sake of bumping, but feel free to add video like you mentioned when you get around to it. Thanks and enjoy TPR! terrancew_hod
^You did it again. Is it me, or are we losing the grammar battle to the texting and IM generation? Before you hit that submit button: 1. If I'm speaking about myself am I using a capital "I"? No lowercase. 2. Make sure you're not using run-on sentences. The thoughts shouldn't be running together without periods. Hint: Don't be in a hurry to post; slow down and take your time when typing. That way, you can catch most of the mistakes. You don't have to be perfect but I shouldn't be the third person to say something to you... people do get banned here for not getting those posts together. 3. Go back and read what you typed before you commit the changes. Honestly it's not that hard; and if it is, you probably need to lay off posting and crack open the English book and brush up. I'm not trying to be mean, but really. You're 13 and this should be fresh in your mind. I'd hate to see what business communications are going to look like in 10 years based on some of these posts from the younger generation. I think it's really going to be jacked. socalMAN123
^ I would cry if the communications in 10 years was in texting language. It's really not that hard to type the entire word! And capitalizing a word only takes pressing one more button while you're typing. But anyways, congrats on winning the trophy, RC boats have always interested me. ---Brent
terrancew_hod
^ I would cry if the communications in 10 years was in texting language. It's really not that hard to type the entire word! When I was his age, I had to use a typewriter to type my papers... and the thing didn't have corrective tape (or electric--ouch my fingers), so I had a bottle of "wite-out'! Teachers didn't accept papers unless they were typed (or later on a letter-quality laser printer). It's so easy to communicate these days, so let's not be so lazy about it! Text and IM however you want to your friends in private; but when it's public communications, you need to act like you're typing that paper to your teacher because you are getting graded. (But then I've heard stories of students turning in papers like they typed them on a Sidekick. And they wondered why they got that 'F'!) Sorry to hijack the thread. Congrats, but this needs as much attention (if not more) than the boat. Terry EDIT: Brent, show your peers how to do it! You're posts are always on point! i am legend--in bed
^ Teehee. One day I had to go to the dentist and had my Science Fair paper due the next day, so I typed it on my Sidekick. I looked sort of strange, but you gotta do, what you gotta do.
