Théo the little french Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Hola people!^^ Since about more or less two months I'm working on a brand new NL coaster on the sea! This is gonna be the tallest, fastest and longest Spinning ever made! I hope you'll like it, but for the moment, I only leave you two teasers (the track is about 50/60% built lol). See ya
Théo the little french Posted June 30, 2008 Author Posted June 30, 2008 Some new pics of my new spinning! I think I've made about 70% of the ride.... But there's still a lot to do^^
Théo the little french Posted July 1, 2008 Author Posted July 1, 2008 I've just finish the supports of the part between the great helix and the rest of the track... I don't tell you more about it, pics are enough to make you think^^
ArrowHater Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Nope, im not sea sick. But it does look fast!!! really fast; for a spinning coaster, at least.
Théo the little french Posted July 2, 2008 Author Posted July 2, 2008 The layout's finished! Here some caracteristics: -1412m long -36m/118.8ft -92km/h / 57.04m/h -aprox. 1800 pessenger/h And here is the famous layout (it was really hard to find a "not so bad" ending!)
Théo the little french Posted July 19, 2008 Author Posted July 19, 2008 Here it is!! Track's finally complete!^^ Just one advice: don't wase you time with the tunel test: it won't succed because I don't take care of that test (I think there is more important/interesting). Comments and critics are welcome! Seasick.nltrack Seasick.wmv Video (on/off ride with a stupid story line I made only to spend time lol)
dr.gumbo Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 First things first, Wich=Which. As for the ride, it was very good but not amazing. I thought the idea was quite good but it could have been utilized a bit more at parts and the supports, though impressive, don't 'mesh' with each other. The Good -Awesome support work. -Nice idea. -Original elements. -Mostly smooth trackwork. The not so good -Though it may look original, its nothing more than a spinner that happens to be on water. The track didn't use the water to its advantage as it should of. -The suppports style isn't consistant enough. My verdit -A sweet little ride which, with a little push, could be a great one. 7/10
Théo the little french Posted July 21, 2008 Author Posted July 21, 2008 First of all: Woops^^ I'm always a bit lost with this word lol Then, there is something I didn't understand, what does "don't 'mesh' with each other" mean? About the fact I didn't use well the setting, well at the begining I wanted to make something more fantastic with fish in the air (like if it was in a dream), I also wanted to built a new station (kinda fantastic too). But when I made the last supports I was so much happy to finish this ride I finally thought "f..k the setting and the station!" Otherwise thanks for your comment and you advice (about the too thin supports).
