After setting up camp at Lake Rudolph, headed into the park about 4:30. Went straight for Voyage, it was running as usual. Also rode Liberty Launch before heading into the picnic grounds to wait for the public to be shoo'ed out.

ERT

I am not 100% positive, but they have had to turn up the lift hill chain speed because Voyage was completely re ridable during regular hours. But the train seemed to be going faster during ert up the lift and was a little unre ridable during ert. If I sat on a non wheeled seat, it was better. Legend was about the same during the day as it was during ERT, as was Raven.

Will update Tomorrow after morning water park ERT on Kima Bay.

BTW, seen a TPR hoodie.

The coasters were re-rideable because it's Memorial Day Weekend, one of the best times you can go to HW!

^Are you sure? I think you should re-read the post again...

I interpreted it as there wasn't anyone in line during regular operations, so he thought they must have made the lift speed faster.

Then again, my interpretations often are wrong...lol

I guess he could have meant both. The fact that it was reridable made the lines a little bit longer since everyone was getting back into line for it. Sorry to be a little harsh. I guess we were both right.

^Lol, no problem. Just a misunderstanding of one/both of us.

I guess spaceace will inform us of what he meant soon...

From what I gather from his post is that during the day the lift was slower, thus providing a less fast paced ride which in turn would lead to a more enjoyable experience minus the quick transitions.

But during ERT the lift was faster, which in turn caused for a more jolted, faster ride that one can only endure in moderation. Its like doing the same turn at 35mph and then at 65 mph. It's the same turn but different speeds provide different experiences!

I meant enjoyable by the lift hill speed causing the ride to go slower during the day and faster during ERT. The faster the ride, the more intense it is. And I officially hate this Indiana Time zone crap. Lines were actually pretty light, HWN attendance seemed quite low last night. Last year all the picnic tables were used and people were shoulder to shoulder at points outside the tables. This year I am sure there was tables free and you could pretty much roam outside the picnic tables.

Indiana Weather is deceiving. I woke up and it was cloudy and in the 50's, not water park ERT weather. I decided to go and get the breakfest. While waiting to walk back the clouds parted and the temps. warmed up. Still wasn't the best for the water park. When we got back tot he park, it was sunny and warm, and my swimming stuff was in my car. Kima Bay looks soaking. I then rode Voyage before making a video lap. Car problems forced me to leave the park and find a place that balanced tires. turns out all four tires were not balanced, which explains the extreme shaking at 75 mph. Walkback of Voyage is in an hour, so I will be going back for it

After the Walk back I grabbed a ride on Voyage, but that was it for regular hours due to the high attendance all coasters had moderate rates. The Raven parking lot was almost full.

After a very very good meal of hamburgers, fried chicken and mac n cheese (and time to let that settle), it was time to ride. I rode Voyage 5 times in 2 hours, mainly due to waiting for front row twice. Once in back, and a few times in middle. If I wasn't on a wheeled seat it was quite smooth. With an hour and half to go in ERT, I headed to Legend to get a ride on it. Set in the middle because it was a walk on except front and back which had a 1 train wait with two train operations on all three coasters. I then went to marathon Raven. I stopped at 20 times in a row just to get a break and ERT was over just as I was exiting. I rode Raven Front seat, second car, and 18 laps in the 4th car.

So far since September of 2006, I have ridden Voyage 45 times, Legend 21, and Raven 44. Pictures and videos will be up by the end of the week.

You didn't have any fudge? Looking forward to your pics!

I really don't care for Fudge anymore or much chocolate at all.

Here is a video I put together. There is two parts, first part is general park video. Second part is all Voyage.

Vimeo is a site for uploading high def videos. SD videos looks great also compared to youtube quality. I have issues uploadin to tpr so I might just use vimeo from now on.

To finish off this trip report. I went back to the park on Sunday to enjoy another wonderful meal and very little gas usage (compared to going to another park). I rode Raven 6 times and Voyage 5 more times to make them a even 50 a piece lap wise and rode Legend once. While I was there, the lines were min. but there were some. I left the park about 2pm because I was literally a zombie after very little sleep. While driving home I could have dozed off quite a few times but kept myself awake till I reached highway 41 and grabbed a Mountain Dew to keep me awake till I got home. I finally made it home and locked my car and crashed for 2 hours within a minute of walking into my home.
