Justin Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 I have been planning a trip to CA for awhile now, and I want to visit S.F. Magic Mountain. Is there a day of the week, during the June month, that would be the prime time to visit? Crowd wise, I didn't know if CA residents didn't go during a certain day or whatever. Monday morning? I don't know if that was a one time thing or just a trend though. FeelTheFORCE Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 I'm no local or anything so things could have changed since I was last there, but when I went at the end of June of the summer of 2006, I went on a Wednesday and it was relatively empty. The only rides that had long lines were Tatsu (due to poor operations/being new), X (due to poor operations), Superman (operations were very good, it was just popular at that time of day), and Deja Vu (once again, poor operations/bad capacity). Everything else was a walk-on. Once again, that was two years ago and things have drastically changed since then, from what I hear, especially the coaster operations, but that gives you a very general idea and get's you started. You should be cautious after the 10th or you might be standing in long lines and not to mention it often gets extremely hot in Valencia during he summer so I would say before June 10 and sometime during the week is good but if you have to go on the weekend Sundays are the best.
