Best Day for Six Flags Magic Mountain

I have been planning a trip to CA for awhile now, and I want to visit S.F. Magic Mountain. Is there a day of the week, during the June month, that would be the prime time to visit? Crowd wise, I didn't know if CA residents didn't go during a certain day or whatever.

I know it's not in June, but 4th of July weekend, the park was empty when I went.

I don't know if that was a one time thing or just a trend though.

In June, Wed. morning sounds better than Monday because of the midweek status, but Sunday, the day lots are in church, might be another good day.

I'm no local or anything so things could have changed since I was last there, but when I went at the end of June of the summer of 2006, I went on a Wednesday and it was relatively empty. The only rides that had long lines were Tatsu (due to poor operations/being new), X (due to poor operations), Superman (operations were very good, it was just popular at that time of day), and Deja Vu (once again, poor operations/bad capacity). Everything else was a walk-on. Once again, that was two years ago and things have drastically changed since then, from what I hear, especially the coaster operations, but that gives you a very general idea and get's you started. I'd say any weekday should be good, but preferably towards the middle of the week. Have fun!

I know that Disneyland's least crowded day from June-August is Sunday.

 

I heard that Wednesdays at MM during the summer are to be avoided like Flashback.

Schools out here get out around June 10. You should be cautious after the 10th or you might be standing in long lines and not to mention it often gets extremely hot in Valencia during he summer so I would say before June 10 and sometime during the week is good but if you have to go on the weekend Sundays are the best. I've always heard that Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the beat days to go during the week.
