haux Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 FYI: The inversion is named after a person, Max Immelmann.
Hckystr91 Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Man, I really wanted Tiger to win, but I guess with a name like Immelman he must be good!
mxman005 Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 I like to see tiger win but every time the sports report came on I couldn't not think about coasters when I saw this guy. There all around me. GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!!!
verticalzero Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 There was a guy called Mr "John Tickle" who ran the London Matheron yesterday. That's a funny name
Kennyweird Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Oh, wow, woohoo. A man named Immelmann won a golf tournament; so what. If you ask me, this thread seems kind of pointless.
Hercules Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 There was a guy called Mr "John Tickle" who ran the London Matheron yesterday. That's a funny name What about Dick Trickle, the old race car driver. ^ This thread really isn't that pointless. It's about the winner of the Master's, one of the best golf events in the world. Honestly, I kind of thought the Immelman was going to pull a Van de Velde and blow it towards the end. That shot on 16 was horrendous. But he pulled it together. Tiger looked like me at the Conference Championships last year. Short putt after short putt - they just weren't going down. It just shows that he is beatable and isn't perfect, especially when his putter isn't working. It is nice to see someone different win a major, and with Tiger out for the next month because of his surgery, it will be nice to watch some golf without Tiger being named every 2 minutes.
zeke11793 Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 Haha that's cool! I like this quote: "This has been the ultimate roller-coaster ride, and I hate roller coasters," Immelman said.
