BrownStreak Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Someone on these forums posted a really neat NL wooden coaster where about half way through its run it dropped down into a canyon and then near the end relied on a 2nd lift to pull it up towards the station. It is one of my favorite NL coasters and I was going to show it to a friend recently but I could not find it amongst the 100's of NL coasters I have in my files. Does anyone know what I am talking about? Like the name or what post it was in?
Tanks4me05 Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Hmmm, I remember this wooden coaster that had GCII Millennium Flyers, (one car per train, Wild Mouse style) but it was freaking huge. It was themed to, well, a Mine. There was another coaster that I remember that was themed to Hell, with the same train configuration, and it kind of reminded me of Lost Coaster at Superstition Mountain. There is also Timber Rattler, a 20,000+ft long hyper terrain wooden coaster that I remember VERY well from 2004 - the longest NL coaster I have seen in history. It had a ride time of over 8 minutes, and required a lift to get back into the station. There is also the New River Gorge series by Trackwalker, where he used a recreation of a Georgian Gorge as the terrain, and his designs were often racing wooden coasters that required large lifts to get up - the coasters (wood) had often reached speeds of over 100 mph on the largest drops - he even made a few steel coasters as well. Some of them may have been at coasterfuel.com but that's all I can remember.
BrownStreak Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 The one I am trying to find had a regular length train on it
xX-Linde-Xx Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Does anyone know where I could download the super long woodie. I remember having it but I lost it when I wiped my computer

DBru Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Can you post a link? I searched and couldn't find it....
BrownStreak Posted March 12, 2008 Author Posted March 12, 2008 Its currently on page 3 of this forum under the heading White Lightning- if you download it- it downloads as oldie_160- which is why it was so hard to find
thrillrideseeker Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 You konw... now that you mention it I went and downloaded the coaster and I must adimt... it was pretty good. I mean yes it was kind of un-realistic because the G's went red in several places and it had no lat. supports, but it was a very well desgined ride! I am glad you needed help finding it because I got to enjoy it too ~Matthew
