Steffen_Dk Posted November 11, 2008 Author Posted November 11, 2008 Update 49.2 Hafen der Flussgärten has now been opened for the guests. As you can see there's still room for expanding the area (the large, bare green spot) Watch out for bridge - do not stand up in the boats! The waterfront houses seen from the backside The 5 stared Restaurant Seeblick And the more cosy Holländische Café DAM DAM DA DA DAMMMM!!
AlmereStars Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 "...DAM DAM DA DA DAMMMM!!.." who is getting married?? lol, I love the skyline over the lake! and if you'll excuse me, I'm going to try the dutch food now! Dutch food in other country's mostly suck! (frikandell, Kaassoufle, pannenkoeken, kroketten, stroopwafels, boerenkool, hutspot, rookworst here I come!)
AlmereStars Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Frikandell - is that Meat balls? no, it's some kind of saucage: Klick
Steffen_Dk Posted November 11, 2008 Author Posted November 11, 2008 That looks.... hmmm..... weird The word just reminded me of the Danish food frikadeller
monkeyoverlord71 Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 I don't know what to say, it's just BEAUTIFUL!
Steffen_Dk Posted November 12, 2008 Author Posted November 12, 2008 I know that this has nothing to do with the things I've shown you in the last updates, but today I finished the Wilde Maus POV, hope you'll enjoy it Youtube Vimeo From now on you'll be able to find all the POV's and videos in the very first post!
Steffen_Dk Posted November 13, 2008 Author Posted November 13, 2008 Thanks for the overwhelming amount of comments Anyway, a new concept art has been released - I'm pretty sure that it's the ride for the next season (season 46)
KPWoCkAxX Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Not really much to see but can I pick out black wooden tracks?
Steffen_Dk Posted November 18, 2008 Author Posted November 18, 2008 Update 49.3 + 49.4 I've had some issues of loading this specific thread, but today it seems to for again. In the meantime I've posted some new updates at atari, and to catch up the missing updates, I'll post 2 in a row here. Gift machines have been put up to attract guests to the outer areas of the park such as the Winkinger-area and the Hafen-area. In addition to that the construction is going pretty fast. Digging, holes, building and track work are all 100 % done at the moment. It's now quite obvious what kind of ride it is. In fact, the only thing missing now, is the theming. Later
Thelegendarymatthew Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I see a dark ride coming! I'm hoping that its heavily themed and has a video. That would be nice -Matthew.K
KPWoCkAxX Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Ohhhhhh!! Looks great. I can't wait to see more!
Steffen_Dk Posted November 18, 2008 Author Posted November 18, 2008 No dark ride Update 49.5 Die Oldtimers will be the new ride for season 46. Die Oldtimers is a gentle ride which mostly has families with small children as the main target group. Two and two you'll, in small vintage cars, be send out on a cosy garden trip in the park of Hafen der Flussgärten. The logo Look a new path leading up to the new ride. That building is almost visible from any kind of angle Testing When I took this pic, I hadn't made the logo yet, so please ignore that. Right next to the queue line, you can, as the only place in the park, buy your own Flussgärten T-shits and souveniers. Souvenier shops will be added to the rest of the park soon. Just to give an overall impression of the new ride The layout The frogs are saying Aufwiedersehen!
AlmereStars Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 The oldtimers look great!! fits in with the park perfect! I would only change the colours of the track (to mild green or something)
KPWoCkAxX Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Looks amazing! The detail is perfect! A 5* park you have here! Nice one! The ride looks brilliant at night with it all being lit up. Looking forward to seeing more.
DBru Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 The whole attraction fits in incredibly well, and I like what you did with the fencing...
Steffen_Dk Posted November 21, 2008 Author Posted November 21, 2008 Update 49.6 Just a random trip through the park Looks like the re-location of Die Altmodische has attracted more people to it. Nice view from Die Altmodische I always forget about this part of the park. Maybe it's because it's mainly filled up with middle intense rides. Das Biest is beginning to show signs of ageing. In this season it has had rather big amount of downtime moments. Up, up, up! Teufel is still one of the most popular rides. Take a look on this and then the pic beneath - notice a difference? Popular entertainer I really like this garden feeling around Struhdel A never before taken pic The oldtimers look great!! fits in with the park perfect! I would only change the colours of the track (to mild green or something) Thank you very much. And I might change the track colour somewhere in the future. Looks amazing! The detail is perfect! A 5* park you have here! Nice one! The ride looks brilliant at night with it all being lit up. Looking forward to seeing more. Thanks Great Job! Taiko Really Happy Thanks The whole attraction fits in incredibly well, and I like what you did with the fencing... I was a little concerned about the fencing, so I'm glad that you like it
AlmereStars Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 great pictures steffen! seen from that last picture, the park is actually bigger then I thought
Steffen_Dk Posted November 21, 2008 Author Posted November 21, 2008 ^And now it has become too big And then I have the most terrible news ever. I have never ever heard of this problem before, but here it goes: The park is now do themed and detailed that the picture and night function aren't working either. That means that I will STOP building on this park, since it makes no sense to me that I build something without having the opportunity to show it to you. I'm really sad about this, however, life goes on, and new projects will come in the near future. This also means that I can start building on Zoo & Park Scandinavia again, if I don't dump the file in the "scrap-yard" (at atari). Though I can't take pictures any more, I still have 1½ update finished, so you all have the chance to say goodbye to my beloved park ~ Steffen Kristiansen ~
monkeyoverlord71 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! This park was amazing. At least you can work on Zoo & park Scandinavia which is also amazing. I look forward to the final updates of one of the best RCT3 parks EVER
Thelegendarymatthew Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 I'm betting it has something to do with the massive amount of scenery and greatness the park has. Its annoying when it happens, but you got to deal with it. I've seen huge and great parks fail becuse of this. I do hope we will get a download on TPR. -Matthew.K
DBru Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 I know EXACTLY how you feel... It's going to be sad not seeing these updates anymore, because this was truly one of the greatest RCT3 parks ever created. Just keep your head up, and know that your next project can only be better! Can't wait to see more from one of the best RCT3 designers on the site... (And yes, I'm talking about you, Steffen )
